Batman Begins scored very well earning five full stars in my book. This film can almost be guaranteed not to disappoint. It portrayed for the first time on the big screen the origins of the bat providing a good story and script, fine performances, excellent costumes, great sets well coordinated with corresponding miniatures and CGI effects. The well presented martial arts sequences between the Bat and our favorite Jedi Master were thrilling. The Blu Ray transfer from film to DVD was excellent and hours of additional features on the making of the film and its outstanding special effects are included on this reasonably priced DVD. The worst film I've seen in a long time. Senseless violence, one-dimensional characters and outright racist portrayals of arabs. Robert Downey Jr. shows the emotional range of an earthworm. He wisecracks stone-faced throughout, although doesn't seem to care one way or the other what happens to him or anyone around him. The one opportunity for redemption falls flat, as there's no real change after the press conference. The romantic interest is forced and uncomfortable. You have to sit through two hours of tepid "build-up" before Iron Man actually battles a bad guy. Let's hope this is the last we see from this group.

If you are a fan of Quentin Tarantino this is a must own. I waited to purchase these films until the much anticipated Whole Bloody Affair was to come out. I realized that I might be waiting for something that will never arrive. Plus, Disney has always handled the Blu-Ray conversion extremely well, and this is absolutely no exception. The color is bright and sharp and the sound is fantastic. If you truly are waiting for the Whole Bloody Affair, good for you. If you are thinking you can't wait, this will hold you over nicely.

This could have been a much better film - and should have been. The premise itself is facinating considering the overwhelming influence of technology in our lives. The direction was poor and I must once again lament the obvious lack of talent posessed by Will Smith. Why does Hollywood insist on casting celebrities instead of actors? Oh well, If special effects are the determining factor in your movie choices, this will fit the bill. Only...wait a while until its price more closely matches Mr. Smith's value as an actor. Keep watching the bargain or closeout isle!

There have been several postings here saying that this disc is region free so us Brits etc could watch it on our BR players. Does anyknow if this is correct? there are several conflicting comments on here? Steve

Twister is one of my all-time favorite action movies and have watched it more times than I would like to admit.The best transfer on DVD still left alot to be desired.Now,the the transfer on Blu-Ray has been cleaned up and improved dramatically.It's not reference quality,of course,but I give the picture a solid 4 out of 5 for a movie of this age.I can't comment on the new lossless soundtrack because I am unable to decode yet. Definitely highly recommended even if you have the latest DVD version.

I loved this movie it is every bit as good as the first if not better. A great adventure. a must see!

When previews for this movie first came out, I was confused...it did not have a name. For a while, it was thought that the date it came out was the actual name of the movie. I was intrigued by the cover, and the way they kept you guessing about what the monster of the movie really was. This movie is filled with suspense and a little bit of blood and gore. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is a Sherlock Holmes/thriller movie lover.
