: 8105 Pale-Colored Glass Watering Globe with Plant Nanny - set of 3

A product that does what it says! My wife no longer kills our plants by over watering and we can go away on vacation without worrying about having someone come in to water them. They look good with the plants too. This product is so much better than aqua globes. The aqua globe was difficult to fill. These are simple to fill, no mess. The aqua globe didn't even water the plant, the stem got clogged with dirt and the water didn't seep through the dirt at all. The Plant Nannies work great, one refill lasts about 7-10 days, and the plants stay alive!

I tested these before I left for vacation. They did not seem to work at all. I was using them on outside pots and unless I was doing something wrong no water came out of them from the water bowl

I have had aqua globes for about 5 months now, and they've worked well with my tall indoor plants. The globe stems are too tall to use in smaller plants, however - so unfortuantely I couldn't use them for my plants on top of cabinets in kitchen which is why I bought them in the first place. (For those I'm now using plant nanny globes....slightly more expensive but the stem sits flush with the dirt in the plat, so only the actual globe is above dirt - works MUCH better for smaller plants).

Aqua globes are a bit hard to fill since they have such narrow stems (I can't seem to get plant food mixture into them via watering can unlike plant nanny globes which are much easier), but as long as you use a pen or such to dig a hole in the dirt in the plant first, they have worked well for ... The watering balls did not work at all for me. I tried them in several different pots with no luck. The only time my plants were watered is when I lifted the balls out of the dirt. I had hoped that at least they would be decorations in the pots, put they are very heavy.

I've never been disciplined enough to water household plants every day, or even every week, so this product is a miracle for me. I now have five pretty, air-cleaning plants in my house that are thriving! Using pretty wine bottles to do the watering looks nice, and holds plenty of water to get through until the next time I remember to water, and since you can see how much water is left in the bottle, you know exactly when there is need for more. The system keeps the soil moist, so there is no running water coming out of the bottoms of plants and ruining floors. Great product!

Easy to follow instructions. They have been working great for me. Now I don't have to worry that I'm not watering my plants enough. I have these in a couple of my plants and now all I have to do is keep an eye on the water containers next to the plants and when they're low I just top them off.

9.Drip-It Frog Plant Waterer Green from: Drip-it Systems International Inc

: Drip-It Frog Plant Waterer Green

Several weeks ago, I ordered this product -- as well as some other plant waterers. All of the products ordered are working great! This little froggy fellow, we thought initally, was not working because the water we put in dripped out almost all at once. But, when we filled it up again and put it back in the same plant, it worked just fine -- a little water goes out each day. The plant must have been really dry when we first tried it. We are happy with all of our plant waterers (even if they are not frogs) -- but we wish that some of them were smaller so that they could be used with smaller plants.

I have had the Oasis for three years and have tried to use it three times - the first time it worked perfectly. The second time I came home to dead plants! It seems that the valve can get stuck - the electronic timer drives a green coil (electro magnet) that opens and closes the water valve. If it is working you can hear it make a "thunk" noise when you move the switch from off to 10. No thunk means the valve is stuck (assumes a new battery). The green coil can be pulled off by removing the machines bottom (just pull it off) and unscrew the nut holding the coil to the valve. A strong magnet can then be moved along the valve to make it open and close. After I did this a few times I reassembled the machine and it is working again - but I don't trust it! I suspect the very hard water here in the ... Read More
