I became officially a Mariah detractor in the last years( with the exception of the great We belong Together ...a masterpiece ). I bought E=MC2 in April because I was buying other Cds and felt bad about not buying it along with the others. I didn't like Touch my Body. For me it is a stupid song and a stupid video. Therefore, the CD was left untouched among several others. However, the first time that I listened I Stay in Love, For the record and I wish you well, I felt that the CD was " Not that bad after all" . Since them, I have discovered Bye Bye and Side Effects. These are the 5 songs that gave me back the faith in Mariah. The one I like the most of them is "I Stay in Love " a beautiful song with a nice beat, catchy lyrics and a heartbreaking finale, that only Mariah can sing. This song ... Read More

What a fantastic voice! I loved, loved, loved the whole CD. There was not one bad song on the whole CD. I am watching for her next one.

I will never buy another Coldplay album without hearing it first. This is the best example of a "DBB" (download it before buying it) album. I can understand how a band should evolve and not repeat themselves. From The Beatles to Depeche Mode we have seen bands changing their style album after album but STILL each album is great. Tough I didn't expect another A Rush of Blood album I sure expected great melodies or complex arrangements. None of this is found here. Sure, "VIVA LA VIDA" is one of the greatest songs of this years and one of Coldplay's best, but do we have to go all through an album of dull "songs" just to have one or at the most 2 great songs?? I bought it for the song Mercy, after listening to it, all the songs on the CD are good. Well worth the purchase.

It has the same tracks as the cd single version, so don't expect anything new. The Junkie XL remix is the best, imo. The rebirth remix and Peter saves Paris are very, very good also... if you like progressive music. It's a good vynil for your collection, altough i thought afterwards I should have better bought the white version of it. I rated it 4 stars because of the great mixes of a good song... but for a first single... honestly, she could have done better.

Accelerate can be one of those albums which fans, upset with R.E.M.'s last few releases, may judge too highly, throwing out words like comeback just to describe a vague adult-rock, easy going consistency in a way which almost insults some of their finer intricacies.

2 1/2 Last Night feels more like a controlled effort to convince fans he has returned to his dancefloor roots rather then a genuine album that makes you want to move like his old classics Play and Everything is Wrong provided, instead at best mimicking the old prototype with tracks such as "Everyday It's 1989" interspersed with half-cooked attempts to update a stale palate.

I will keep it simple, short and sweet. These tunes totally took me back to when I first heard the yellow album. This one just has that feel like it's 1979.

This album is way beyond expectation. Summer is back to her peak form. It is a modern dance oriented album. It is not just for Summer fans. In fact it has very little like her disco era materials. Give this modern Summer a try.

I cannot say that i'm a fan of Discordinant sound. Many a musical snob calls this intelligent music. I call it noise. It doesn't take rocket science to create garbles of mathematical sound. Just an analytical mind, & a want to stray far from center. This release is very disappointing in my estimate. Not in the fact that it is indeed so unlike old Portishead, but that it lacks in any firm tonal center for much of the duration. As soon as you begin to want to connect to something, it is quickly ripped from underneath you. There have been many geniuses that have pushed the bar far from the norm but have maintained a central tonality in their work. This is in my estimate where genius lies.
