I'm particularly pleased with Microsoft Office 2008, because it enables me to download the Attachments I receive without any of the problems I had previously. It was a good investment for a 91-year-old woman who likes to keep in touch with family and friends.

I can't speak about the other programs, but "Pages" is a joke. It is a program for amateurs, not professionals. One example of its shortcomings is the following: if you want to cut or copy a body of text, and you have your heart set on the pasted text having the same font /font size / style, you have to pull down a special command called "Paste and match style." This is comical. Why didn't they make the cutting and pasting work properly in the first place? That's like saying "Here is your new dishwasher. It cleans beautifully, But if you want to turn it on, you'll have to push a special button in the back." Not to mention that if there is an underlined word in the text you cut or copied, the underlining won't come out in the pasted text. Apple has put professional writers in a bind. ... Read More

I was able to set up this mouse in OS X 10.5 in less than a minute, and it simply works. I've had other bluetooth mice, but none have been reliable enough. This one works better than my corded mouse which it replaces. Outstanding.

The mouse has worked well so far. The only negative I found is that it takes a little bit for the bluetooth to be recognized by the computer so, when you don't use the mouse for a few minutes, there is a noticeable delay when you move the mouse before the cursor actually starts moving.

I've used this router for a few months now. 3 Macs, Airport Express via ethernet, Squeezebox via ethernet and a Netgear switch. All wifi devices are 802g. The house is tough on wireless due to layout and plaster walls sheathed in metal. It is a good router, albeit pricey. Pros: Build quality and design. Probably typically Apple: eventual replacement will be caused by technological obsolescence versus dying like all the other routers we've had. Very easy to set-up. Let Apple's auto configure do the work and go back later in "Expert Mode" to make any changes you need. Most stable router I've had (5 routers, 1st Apple). Consistent performance. Have yet to reboot.
