This book is awesome! I was working out at the gym and eating pretty well, but I was losing about a pound or a pound and a half per month. I read "Making the Cut" and followed the workout routine while counting my calories. In that month I went from 211 lbs to 204 lbs. The circuit training described in this book has really opened my eyes as to what kind of training is possible and I will never go back to just sitting around and lifting weights. These workouts are hard and will give you your money's worth with great variety. It does require the step and weights listed and it's hard to get by without them, so I would recommend investing in a good quality step and a set of weights that suit you. It is true that these tapes are hard if you are out of shape, but I recommend sticking with it. When I started using Jillian's tapes I was 183lbs. I'm down to 155lbs after 3 months and I did that with the tapes and bettering my eating habits. Do what you can and work your way up. This workout is really good for toning and sculpting the body. I use it alternately with the Biggest Loser Cardio Max for a complete body workout. Would recommend to anyone getting started on a workout routine. It has three levels that you can customize as you get stronger and want to progress to something more vigorous.

I love this dvd. You really work up a sweat and I can customize how long I want to work out. The exercises are fun and I don't get bored with it.

I got a great workout from this video. It got a little boring after using it for a few times. I will continue to use it because it does work!

If you're serious about losing weight this is the book for you. This book will get you where you want to be if you're serious about it. This is not a quick fix fad diet. Jillian really knows her stuff. I had lost 54 pounds on my own, but the weight stopped coming off and I still had a lot to lose. And I wasn't exercising either, so I wasn't in shape. After doing what she says the weight continued to come off. And the exercises have toned up my muscles and even made them stronger. Lose weight look great and feel great with Jillians book. A must read.

I love watching the show...but this book didn't really do it for me. Everything in it was very basic information, nothing new.

I enjoyed the audio download that I got. I am going to buy the book too. However, I did not get access to a PDF file? How can I get the PDF file for "Are you Ready" by Bob Harper? I downloaded the book to my mp3 player and did not get the PDF file? I found this book to be a different softer approach and have been enjoying it. I just wish it was not so "Abridged"...hee hee It's only 2 hours. Please post how I can get the PDF File. Thank you
