I ordered this to replace the one I left out in the rain outside and died. The directions tell you not to leave the device in a place where the weather can ruin them (they are not water tight) but I ignored the directions which led to the purchase of this replacement unit. Thankfully it works just fine and I'm back to knowing how to dress for the weather without going outside first!

This sensor replaced an old one on my deck. Following the installation directions, it worked perfectly.

Great product. We enjoy having the time and temp alternately flash onto bedroom ceiling, so we don't have to roll over and look at the clock in the middle of the night.

Need batteries that last...want my moneys worth! These fit that bill! Could be purchased cheaper at Sam's club but I opted to buy online. The service was great though!

There is a hidden danger to buying the BC-900 (and I'm sure it applies to the BC-700) that hasn't been written about yet. When you catch up testing and refreshing and charging all of your rechargeable batteries, there's a let-down or feeling of ennui as you realize there are no more batteries to fix. It makes you want to run radios and flashlights just to run down the batteries. Perhaps we can call it the "empty battery nest syndrome"...

Not much to say about the batteries. They are Energizer and the brand certainly meets everyone's expectations. My batteries were received and the date on the package was well in advance, so no complaints here. However, the price is a bit above average. If you are ordering for convenience fine. But if you want the best deal, you will likely need to go to your local discount store. The local store usually runs about $.70 per battery or less when purchased in bulk (more than 4). At the current Amazon price ($13.95), that comes out to about $.85 per battery.
