: SanDisk 2GB SD Memory Card (SDSDB-2048, Bulk Package)

Purchased this card for my new Canon SD1100 IS. Card works fine and holds enough pictures for my satisfaction. The SD card that came with the camera was limited to a 32 MB capacity. Not many pictures. I noticed some customers reviewing this item were perturbed by the shipping charges. I paid $2.34 for the card and $5.95 for shipping. $8.29 ain't bad. My bottom line, still a decent deal. San Disk produces good quality memory cards.

: HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld Designio Leather Case (Vertical Flip Cover)

I bought this leather case to help protect my iPAQ 111 from being handled and mishandled. The case has served it's purpose very well. I can throw my pocket pc in my backpack and have it be protected.

I went with a vertical flip case because I wanted to be able to utilized my iPAQ while I was walking around the hospital, for example, since I'm in med school. Therefore, I thought the vertical flip would be more handy than the alternative.

The case does give you room to put a few business cards and a couple SD cards for memory.

On the flip side, the case was more expensive than I had thought when I started looking around for a case, but it's a good case. In addition, since the case is tight-fitting, sometimes all of the holes, openings, etc. don't match ... Read More

This is about my 10th PDA; my last one is the iPAQ 4700. The 4700 uses Mobile 5.0, which is another one of Microsoft's big mistakes, and was soon replace with Mobile 6.0. Version 6.0 corrects all the issues more or less with 5.0. If you are use to Windows CE software you will have little problems learning 6.0. The main improvement is the Mobile 6.0 takes advantage of the speed of the CPU and nice design of this iPAQ 111. The screen and button functions all work well without hesitation. Wi-Fi is great. This PDA is small and light weight, but the screen is a nice size. I found it easy to read since my eyes aren't the best anymore. The speaker is not good for listening too much of anything, but fortunately the headphone jack is a standard one, so you can easily plug in a set of head phones or ... Read More

Setting up initial partnership between the keyboard and my pda was pretty simple. The keyboard size and key-spacing are decent...a little smaller but comparable to laptop keyboards.

Numbers and some punctuations are awkward to type but other than that, I am able to type at my normal typing speed.

The size of the keyboard when stored is conveniently small. I keep it in my glovebox in my car in case I need it while I'm out.

I frequently meet clients at restaurants, coffee shops and other places. I pull my keyboard and pda out of my purse and I'm ready to take notes.

I'm not sure what the battery life is but I've been using it approximately 4 hours per week for about 3 weeks on the same 2 aaa batteries so far.

The convenience, simplicity, ... Read More

I was impressed by the quality of this case in particular; it is lightweight and strong, and the inside offers a decent amount of padding to hold your iPAQ in place. My only 'con' is that you are unable to use the touchscreen through the plexiglass window, so you must open the case every time you wish to use the screen. Overall, though, a quality product for a fairly reasonable price :)

8.HP iPAQ 111 TrueVue Crystal Clear PDA Screen Protector from: Lexerd

This has been on my PDA for about 6 months, and works exactly as it is supposed to, and exactly as advertised.
Installation requires some patience, but follow the (very clear) instructions, and you'll be fine. The package included a couple of rubber fingertip gloves (to prevent getting fingerprint oil on the screen), a lint-free cloth, and a piece of plastic to smooth out bubbles.
As long as one is careful and takes a little time to install the protector correctly and precisely, there will be no problem. If you are impatient and just want to slap something on your PDA, this is not the product for you. OTOH, I suspect products that just "slap on" to the PDA don't work half as well as this.
I recommend this product, and will buy it again when I replace my PDA.
