Let me first start by saying the stand was indeed a pain to put together...It didn't take me too long though (35 minutes or so), but like the other reviewers said, the directions arent the clearest, and you do have to stare at the picture...intently...to figure it out...but it is defiantely do-able. As far as the quality of the stand goes, IT'S EXCELLENT!!! The stand is extremely sturdy; I've had it for about 2 months now with no problem. I noticed some people were a bit peeved because the keyboard is advertised as a Yamaha product, and some people said it didnt fit their Yamaha keyboards. The product is definately NOT a Yamaha brand stand, the logo is no where to be found on the actual product. However, it fits my M-Audio 88-key keyboard just fine. OMG - nice bench but where they really outdo themselves is in creating the least helpful assembly instructions ever. Why bother? Save the trees and just stamp "U Figure it Out" on the box in Engl/Span./French.

Yamaha did a fine job on this stand. It's a little bit different than the one pictured in that the upper part of the stand has little extensions to hold the keyboard in place. This is a good quality stand. For me, it's much better than the one it replaces. I would recommend it. I have reservations about the mental stability of the individual who left a one star review for this product.

The bench is OK. Comfortable, but a little wobbly. It's small, light weight, and cheap, but OK. The box says the bench is "from Yamaha and Others" in small print - it says distributed by Yamaha, but that it is made in China. The quality you would expect is definitely not there. Also, I ordered model PKBB1...They sent me PKBB1-MM...which is listed separately on the Amazon website for $5.14 LESS. So I guess they are the same, but Amazon doesn't tell you that. I had a good bench before (That my kids broke) and there is no comparison. Luckily my kids are a lot older now, but this is not made to hold up. This keyboard stand is HORRIBLE! It is easily the worst thing I have every purchased on Amazon. I have owned it for 10 minutes, and it is not stable or flat, which are really the key things a stand needs to be. The allen screws strip, so you can't tighten them, but even when they were tightened the first time, it still wobbles all over the place. No product is perfect, but this one fails at the one thing it is designed to do!

Excellent book for beginners. I started playing the piano when I was in grade school, a girl would go and have her piano lessons, and then come home and teach them to me. This book helped me to remember more than anything. The only irk(s) I have with it is, maybe it is just my copy (although I doubt it...), the Greensleeves song (on page 82-83), has a note that is incorrect. No big deal, I just penciled in the correct note, but it did take some tracking down to make sure that I am correct. The first 2 F#'s that are in the song should be F naturals. That is in bar three (3) and bar eleven (11) in the song. I can understand why folks who are most familiar or most comfortable with a pedal that re-creates the feel of what can be found on a real piano might not be thrilled with this. But I just needed something to be able to get a sustain effect out of an old Yamaha DX21 keyboard. This product did the job and works great.

This pedal is outstanding for the price. The feel is great and it doesn't move at all when you put it down on the floor. The only thing I disliked was that it doesn't support "half dampening" like most of the higher end pedals around this price range. I got this for Christmas of 2007 and it is still going strong used every day in my recording studio. Great product

I bought this midi cable to hook up my V-amp 2 to my new pc with the Vista OS, and I didn't even have to install any drivers for it, it worked right off the bat. My pc recognized it immediately, no problem at all. I recommend it highly for V-amp users and whoever needs one with a computer that has Vista.
