I purchased 3 sets of these lights to use as uplighting around the front of my home. I am impressed with the amount of light that these put out and how easy they are to install. Not enough to "shine" through the windows to disturb the darkness but a nice glow to illuminate the landscape. I am going to order 2 more sets for each side, they look kind of bare compared to the front. They are in no way as bright as the electic powered lights but they are just as pretty. I put them out today and a couple of my neighbors approched me this evening and asked me "who did your lighting"...

They are batteries! As long as they hold a charge! I got them for spares. I will not know how they worl till used... Price was right though!

I thought I would take a chance and get one that doesn't have the spotty on/off problem so many others have reported. No such luck. It doesn't turn on when you click it. If you reseat the battery, or jiggle it around, it will eventually turn on and work, but when you need a flashlight, you need a flashlight, not one five minutes later. A consistent design flaw or poor construction process. On the plus side, it looks great, and when it works, it works well. I gave it to my 4-year old and bought a Smith and Wesson 28 light LED flashlight.

We put these solar lights by the two ladders in our above-ground pool. They look wonderful. I get comments about them all the time. The 'flame' is very realistic, unless you're up close. But who cares. I am very pleased and plan on buying more. No problems putting them together and they really hold a charge well.

I really like this light, I have bought three. It works very well, holding an 8 hr. charge, keeping OUR FLAG illuminated all thru the night. Too bad this product has been discontinued instead of developed further!

Since the PS3 doesn't have an IR port, a Bluetooth remote is the only option. Now I think that using Bluetooth for a remote is a great idea, but that means I can't use my great universal remote until Logitech develops a remote with Bluetooth. The remote itself works great and has all the functions you would need. It's true there is no one button for power off, so that is kind of a pain. However any button you press will turn your PS3 on. This can be annoying sometimes since it's Bluetooth and so doesn't need to be pointed at the PS3 or even have line-of-sight. It can be under a cushion when you sit down and all of a sudden you PS3 is whirring up. I guess in this sense it's good there is no one touch power off. Turning the PS3 off is a 3 button affair.
