My 7 year old absolutely loves this toy. He won't go anywhere without it! It's really great for enforcing good behavior, such as staying quiet when guests are over, sitting in the corner on his bed when he's being ignored instead of scratching at the doors and breaking windows, and sharing his food instead of producing a blood-curdling scream when others come near. It's really made a difference, this little squirrel. It's changed our lives around for the better, and little Gunther's, too. I really recommend it for parents who have problematic children- ever since purchasing this, we haven't had any DCFS agents coming by or calls from the school guidance counselor.

Do not order from Discount Pet Supply. They sent the wrong product. I want them to pay the return shipping due to the fact that they sent the wrong product. I will never order from them again! I wish I had know that they can not read, they sent me the shampoo, I ordered the Waterless shampoo. There customer service is terrible. I give them 0 stars.

After reading the other reviews I decided to spend the money on this about a month ago. We put our place on the market and also were going out of town. I wanted something that would contain the litter and hide it but would also be easy for the neighbor to stop in and take care of it. This thing is really easy to use. I use 'Scoop Away' brand litter- and by preference add extra baking soda. I keep about 3 inches or so of litter in the bottom and it works great for my two cats. I clear it out every morning (takes less than a minute) and once a week I open the whole thing to make sure there isn't too much build up on the grate inside- very easy to do. I use Petmate Fresh Flow filters, but have to change them more often than the recommended month, because I have three cats. I'm sure they last longer for only one pet. They can also be removed, after turning off the water filter, and rinsed well then re-inserted. I do this sometimes when I don't have time to change the filter and clean the water fountain, but I clean and change it as close to once a week as possible. Again, with only one pet, this probably wouldn't be necessary.

I adopted a new cat. My old cat, Bellea, wasn't taking to her well after I went through the "proper steps" of introducing them (slowly, etc). Bellea started loosing her fur and just in general was moody (ie: suddenly didn't want to be held). I took her to the vet twice. 1st time she got a cortisone shot since he thought it could be allergies. 2nd time, she still wasn't getting better, he figured it must be the other cat.
