I am very pleased with the quality of shots I have taken with my new Panasonic Lumix. The instruction book reads like stereo instructions but most of the features are intuitive. While it is not as lightweight as my Coolpix it still fits easily in my shirt pocket. It takes a much better shot with little effort. No problem with my aging shakes and good pictures. Highly to be recommended and greatly to be enjoyed.

I bought a 4gb SDHC card for my digital camera, only to later find that the number of SDHC memory stick readers out there is abismal, including the one already in my PC. Note: If your existing reader doesn't say "SDHC", you (probably) cannot read that SDHC card in it. I bought two others before finally purchasing this unit. It does a perfect job and VERY FAST (full USB 2.0). I can put my standard SD cards in here and they transfer pictures faster than on my internal SD card reader. Go figure. There are a few posts about it being too wide to fit in narrow slots. My Dell monitor has 2 USB ports on the side. I plug this reader in one of those slots, and I am able to fit this next to my Jabra bluetooth adapter.

Canon FS100 Flash Memory Camcorder with 48x Optical Zoom I was looking for my first camcorder because we had a baby and I wanted to capture special moments. I'm pretty happy with it! It's very lightweight and the memory is not too expensive for it. It doesn't work so well under low light conditions (putting him to bed, for instance) but all in all a pretty good experience thus far and connects directly to my TV and computer.

I boughtt this SD card and reader to use for my remote surveillance camera videos. It had no problems with capturing tthe video nor playing them back . The large capacity made it possible to keep larger files, which translates into higher quality videos. I did notice, however, that despite the fact that it worked flawlessly in the camera and computer, the speed of transfer was slower than other cards I tried in the same reader. Just by rough estimate this card transferred a little less than 1 meg/second. My other cards did about twice that. Add to this the huge capacity and you'll find that filling the full 16Gigs from scratch will be a time consuming activity. Otherwise, this card seems perfectly suited to the task I need it for.

I've had the camera now for a month. It's pretty straight forward to use and all features seem to work as described. I bought a mini-HDMI cable (also from amazon) and played video back on my 50in plasma straight from the camera. Great pictures with good lighting...ie outside in the daytime and inside with all the lights on. The image deteriorates rapidly in lower light, gets very grainy. Sound is OK but if you want the sound to equal picture quality in good lighting, you probably need an external mic...I imagine this is the same for any camcorder. I have yet to download video onto a computer however. I little apprehensive based on all the comentary about download speed and computer requirements. I love this camera. Although I'm not a professional photographer, I need to be able to take quality jpegs for internet use. This camera does a terrific job.

I just received this Netbook today. I have worked with many PC's and every Windows Program out there. Linux is a dream. Turn the PC on and the screen is up in less than five seconds. If you do need Windows, install it, but this is great the way it is. It will not replace my Desktop or bigger Laptop but I can say that it will get used more than the others. Mine came with a case. They say " big things come in small packages ", this is the proof !!
