The batteries when fully charged last only 20 minutes each and by then the trimmer will barely rotate. Batteries also lose their charge if not used often and it may take three to nine hours to fully recharge. It is disheartening to be almost done with the task and lose power.

I'm not very happy with this product. The way the line is wound around the spool for some reason it will not advance automatically. I have to continuously remove the spool cover and physically advance the line by hand.

No problem with this seller, string trimmer can handle regular lawn <.5 acre, after that battery goes low. Leaf blower has only on/off, not variable speed which would be nice.

I have a lot of leaves every fall and needed something other than a gas blower. They are just too heavy for me nowadays. So I bought the Cordless Electric Broom from Black and Decker. What a great job it does even if they are wet on the driveway. I am really happy with it. I also just bought another one for my 84 year old neighbor as his gas blower was just too heavy for him too. I would very much recommend it to anyone who has leaves!

Fits pretty well. I have a Craftsman lawnmower and it does fit good. My mower has the large rear wheels so it it a bit snug, but works just the same. It even stayed on during our very high Santa Ana winds in in So. Cal. kept the fire ashes off it as well....

All I can say is "WOW!" After reading about this blower/vacuum in Consumer Reports, and how well it worked, I decided to purchase it. I searched all over the internet, but found that Amazon's "amazing" price of just under $70 was unbeatable. That included free shipping. My blower/vac arrived the next day. Lucky me! Anyhow, It has PLENTY of power. Matter of fact, it has more power than the gas powered backpack blower I had, which pleasantly surprised me. I used the Toro to clean my gutters, and blow and vacuum my leaves, and it did all 3 jobs easily. Again, I'm "blown away" with the amount of power it has. The only "inconvenience" is having to pull an extension cord around with it, but you can solve that by buying the longest extension cord you can find. Over the past few years I have accumulated a variety of Black & Decker 18 volt powered tools. Needless to say, the accompanied plug in chargers take their sweet time bringing the battery to full power. On average the batteries have required almost 4 hours before reaching full charge. The Black & Decker 9.6-18V charger has been a welcome surprise. It completely recharges batteries in about 2 hours or less. This nicely weighted accessory is a time saver and a worthy investment that has more then paid for itself. I own two of these units and highly recommend this product.

This is my second one in three years. My battery charger quit working,so I bought a whole new unit. I really didn't use the hedge trimmer that much and felt it should have a longer life and be of better quality. The product is lightweight and easy to use and the price is okay. All other rechargeable trimmers are more money. If the first one didn't have the battery charger problem, I would have rated the product higher.
