I purchased this game for my wife, a casual gamer, because she loved "Cooking Mama" so much. While the game was relatively short (and probably not with much replay value); she did have a good time playing it and I feel like she got $20 of fun and entertainment out of the title.

Great birthday present. Some dishes are challenging or hard to pronounce but the "pretend" cooking is all that matters. My daughter loves this game. The challenging dishes are great though because it means she won't have completed the entire game in just a day or two. Plus, 2 has more features than 1 did, and she is really enjoying it.

This is one of the best brain games. It gets harder and harder the longer you play and the younger your brain age gets. I especially love the piano play along.

I hate to say I started out as an 80 yr old YIKES. Now after a week I test at 47yr old. And the tests are harder than at the start so you really can see you make progress. There is a little racing man that you have to track with your eyes and tell what place he comes in and others pass him and he passes them. I do terrible at that but it is a good eye training test.

At 52 I realized I needed to do more to keep my mind active and doing these games is a great way to do that and have fun at the same time.

I highly recommend the Nintendo DS and all the brain games.

As complex as this game can be on the regular consoles, they do a good job of making one for the DS. All you need is one game and four people can join in with their DS's. Entertains quietly for hours. The single player, I'll admit was a little hard for me. I still haven't beaten it.

I am a big DS fan and I love this game. First off, it is a fun gameplay with lots of levels and eight worlds. It also includes a bazillion minigames. Next it allows for all the mini games to be multiplayer and it has a special mode which allows for fun capture the star, all which can be done using one card! The only drawback is limited saving(only at castles and towers) But I jave found that if you get 5 stars and buy a mushroomhouse or level, it will let you save your progress. All in all this is on great game that I recomend to anyone looking for some fun.

My daughter, 13, purchased this game and enjoyed playing it except for one GLARING problem. One of the fashion shoots requires the player to dress the model in lingerie! The "mild suggestive themes" listed on the box, I thought ment the skimpy outfits, but no. I amazed that a game company would include this content in a game for kids! It is not a game we are keeping, and now cannot return.

Just because a ton of folks heaped praises on Mario Kart before me is not stopping me from tossing in my two cents. This game is fun and addicting! It is a must purchase to add to your DS game collection.
The graphics are a blast, the sound effects are quite complimentary to the game atmosphere, and the game play is all consuming.

Buy it, own it, enjoy it! Have fun.

I love this game and I think it's great. The only DS game I like better than this one is Brain Age 2. And the only reason I like that one better is because of the piano game. I think they are both great products.

I was very busy at work for a couple of months, so I didn't a chance to do my daily training. When I finally got back to playing, that face on the screen told me that it was disappointed in me because he didn't see me in 2 months. He looked really sad. I felt kind of guilty!
