Works great, it seems pretty fast and it wasn't very expensive considering it's eight gigs. Only thing I don't like is the cap, I'm afraid i might loose it. It should have a little tether to it or something so it can't be separated from the drive. When it's plugged in the cap does fit snugly on the back though.

It's a good product and it's what I bought 2 years ago but, since then, the 4GB model and Kingston 8GB DataTraveler USB flash drive - High Speed USB have been released. It would make more sense to go for the 8GB because you will get 4 times the storage capacity without paying 4 times as much (check the prices). And, of course, it's the convenience factor. However, if all you need is 2GB of storage then, by all means, get this one. The price is right and it works perfectly. I have a couple of these and I've been storing my tax records on them. The family album goes on the larger capacity model.

I and my friend just bought this items. Both of our drives are exactly 7.5G not, 8.0G. This is not a matter of file system journaling eating up some of the space. The physical device itself is registering at 7.5G. Not cool.

This flash drive is compact and reliable! I liked it so much for my school files, I just bought another one for my home files!

Pros: Cheap, durable, reliable Cons: Slow, can interfere with adjacent ports I've never had a problem with Kingston memory - whether as DIMMs or USB keys. This one is rugged and durable, but it's really slow. However, it's also cheap and it does the job to transport my stuff from here to there.

The Kingston flash drives are durable and reliable but they are really slow compared with others. Not suitable for moving large files.

I love these things and they always work well. I use them for file transfer as well as giving them away to my clients when I need to provide files or images. I use these instead of CDs because they are so very portable and can be used in so many places. I have bought a dozen so far and plan to keep using them because of the great value for the price. I have started buying the 2gb version and have also purchased the 4gb as well. Highly recommended.

Just trying to the body of work that is Amazon reviews...this case is good for the price. I use it to hold USB keys as well as some common small tools such as a flash light and Swiss army knife. The quality on the unit I would say is 9/10. Pleased with the purchase and pleased with Amazon's sale of the unit.
