The item was misleading on the web site.I thought it was a complete unit, but when received found out it was an auxiliary until and I required a mother base.I sent the unit back sent bought the right unit locally.

The people I talk to hear me...clearly. There is no feed back[can't hear what I'm saying] when connected to the Panasonic KX-TG1033S hand set. Takes a little while to get used to...but it's a very good product.

This headset provides good sound quality, both receiving and transmitting. The problem with the mute button is that it must be pressed continuously, and if your thumb fatigues, you get a crackling sound on the line. Do not purchase this unit if you need to have the microphone on mute for extended periods (such as when recording). Get a unit which has a slide switch or toggle mute button.

We bought these to replace a 3-4 year old VTech dual set that had dead spots in our house and to add a unit. The Panasonic with Dect 6.0 solved the dead zone issue and seems to have great range inside and outside. In the deal, we also got: (1) better sound quality, (2) a lighter phone, (3) bigger buttons, (4) an decent sounding speaker phone, (5) erasing missed calls on one unit does it on all three, (6) longer battery life. Only negatives going thru more menus to erase (but that is more than offset by #5) and we didn't like the wall mount. Since we have voicemail I haven't used the answering machine, but am considering going to that for ease of use and ability to hear message being left and interrupt if desired. We are very pleased with this phone system.

This phone is decent for the money, but I expected more. You have to separately store numbers in the address book in both handsets. The voice clarity sometimes fades in and out a little, and you cannot set your own ring tone. Otherwise it seems to be a good phone.

This is a very good phone system for the money. One of the problems with my previous cordless phones was battery replacent costs(almost cheaper to buy a new phone). This sytem uses AAA NiMH batteries which are quite inexpensive to replace when it should become necessary. I also like the fact that you can add numbers to your library from any phone and it can then be used by any other phone on the system. Very easy installation and configuration. I'm not a network expert but I was able to set both the wire and wireless connections quite easily with the wizards and documentation and even turn wireless security on in no-time. Connecting to the wireless network with my laptop proved quite painless and simple - even after trying for the first time connecting to a WPA2 secured wireless network with a WiFi enabled smartphone! The signal is very strong and I'm able to easily connect from every spot in my house and yard though the router resides at a back room. I've been running this router for a few months now where a bunch of house guests have connected to it (if I were more paranoid I would be quite alarmed at the number of individuals having the password to my wireless network!) ... Good price for product and more than reasonable shipping charges along with speedy shipment. My new puppy chewed my earphone cord and I just can't deal with talking on the phone without them.
