I have used HP ink catridges before and as always I get excellent quality from them.

I have spent hours installing and uninstalling the software. I tried it on my home computer, also Windows XP, and it would not install there either. HP support gave me several suggestions--none of these time consuming suggestions helped. I was ready to return it and exchange it. I had bought a Canon MX850 for home, which installed easily! I tried downloading the HP driver for my husband's Mac (OS-X 10.5), also not a problem. Since my husband is buying me a Mac for my birthday, I'm saving the HP for my office, where I will use the Mac, and keeping the Canon for home. Unless you enjoy spending hours installing and uninstalling software, don't buy this printer to go with an XP operating system.

I really like these HP Ink cartreges. Easy to install and I have NEVER had a clogged head! Awesome.

The product is the designated toner for the printers. Amazon.com offered the lowest price and that was the major factor in determining its purchase. Never had a problem with products ordered from Amazon.com.

I have a C7280 Photosmart printer and it utilizes 6 of these cartridges. While the print quality is incredible so is the price. I wish the cartridges were bigger and less expensive. It seems like an extraordinary waste of resources to pack such a tiny amount of ink into this package. It seems quite obvious that HP cares more about ridiculous profits than the environment.

The cartridge was working ok at first, but then the Printer said it was empty and didn't work again. I tried cleaning it and it worked for a while but again it says its empty...really frustrating

My HP printer requires a separate cartridge for each color. That makes so much more sense than having to buy a whole new cartridge when only one color is used up while still having plenty of the other colors still in the cartridge.

THE 8180 DOES EVERYTHING CLAIMED, IS EASY TO USE FOR A SENIOR CITIZEN LIKE ME WHO HAS ONLY BEEN INTO COMPUTERS AND ACCESSORIES FOR LESS THAN A YEAR. THE QUALITY OF THE PRINT IS AS GOOD AS ANY I'VE SEEN BOTH FOR TEXT AND PHOTOS. IT'S SO MUCH MORE HANDY TO PRINT MY PICTURES RIGHT HERE AT HOME RATHER THAN WAIT IN LINE AT WALGREENS. EXCELLENT PURCHASE TO MY MIND.

We'd installed the software for this printer on some older XP machines. We'd constantly get the 'can't find network' popup even though our network is solid. So I installed it on my new Vista computer and same problem. Annoying but not a total deal breaker. Then I started getting popups saying that smart web printing was having problems. Then every time I tried to navigate a web page the cursor would change and I would not have any control over my computer. So I tried uninstalling smart web printing. That deleted all of the icons on my desktop except for my recycle bin and also deleted all of my quick launch icons. So I did a system restore but that didn't help. Then I tried uninstalling the myriad of HP programs that auto-install (no general uninstall option given...thanks HP.) All ... Read More
