You might think the scent clean. Its a mix between Coppertone and vinyl doll head (kinda beachy). Its not bad; its not spectacular. To reference what I like -Evellyn & Crabtree; Chamomile. Bath & Body; Bergamont Corriander-both lotions I can't buy unless I luck up on old stock. I wanted something clean and the reviews sounded good. I read the "doesn't last" reviews and bought a trial kit-oil, cologne and lotion and thought I'll layer & it should last better-NO. I only like a subtle scent, which is why I prefer lotions. This is no scent unless you squirt it on all day long. Won't buy again and gave it a 1. If the scent stayed on would have been 4. Test before you buy it.

I started using philosophy shower gels about a year ago when I discovered that they seem to be the only scented shower gels out there that don't make my super sensitive skin break out, even when I shave with them. Amazing Grace is my favorite scent. It's just so clean and soothing, with hints of baby powder and floral notes. Unlike a lot of the other philosophy scents, Amazing Grace is not overly sweet and it doesn't leave you smelling like a baked good. It's a nice clean scent that lasts all day. The gel has a good, long lasting lather, and doesn't leave any kind of residue. It has quickly become one of my favorite beauty items, both for myself and to give as a gift.

Love this stuff! It does smell a bit soapy, but in a nice, more feminine way. It is light and if you want a stronger scent, pair it with the lotion or body wash. I pair it with at least one other thing and it's just right that way. I always get lots of compliments with this- my husband especially loves it and my one of my boys told me that I always smell so good. I love it so much it's become my signature scent. I've thought about switching to another scent for Fall/Winter but why mess with something that works?

It is a really, really nice scent. No matter hiw much I put on though I cannot get enough of it. The lotion is also awesome. This is a staple in my fragrance wzardrobe.

For $15, this 1 oz tube is not worth it at all. It smells like the rose shaped soap my grandma used to leave in the bathroom. It doesn't moisterize any better then anything else you could buy. So save your money for a different brand and larger tube!
