To be honest, I have not gotten anywhere near opening my filters. The AeroPress comes with filters, and they last a crazy long time. I rinse and reuse the filters, and have used one for several weeks now. At this rate, I will probably be dead before I need the filters. These are the same as come with the AeroPress, and they are high quality. The thickness means that the final coffee is very grit free and the filter is strong enough to be reused. I love the product.

These filters are a part of a system for making coffee/espresso that I love. But when I bought the contraption that makes the coffee, I didn't realize it came with so many filters. Save your money and just use those that come with the thing. They will probably last me a year or more--and I drink a lot of coffee--plus, they say you can rinse the filters and use them more than once if you want to be more green and conservative in your filter use.

In looking for a frother to take the place of a non-functioning steamer on my expresso machine, I came across the site featuring the Aerolatte Stainless Steel Deluxe Edition frother with stand. Since ordering it, I've been having fun creating some nifty little beverages for my husband, who can no longer have coffee or any caffeine. His favorite is a simple "Steamer". I add some type of flavored italian syrup to milk, heat it well, then froth it. In just a few seconds, it make a great foamy "head" on the milk. It also works well for frothy hot chocolate and more! It runs on two long-lasting AA batteries and has an amazing amount of power to make froth/foam.

I bought two of these actually a bit over 20 yrs. ago. My brother's needed replacing last year so I bought a Cuisinart which barely grinds the coffee now in less than a year. What a waste of money! My own Krups needs replacing now because the blades have become dull but it is still running. I'm amazed at some of the negative reviews. And yes, we drink lots of coffee so these little machines have had quite a workout. I plan on buying another Krups so I hope they still make them like they used to!

This is the first burr type grinder we have owned. Our old blade grinder finally broke so I bought one for my husband's birthday based on the reviews here and elsewhere. He uses it for a french press. I actually had stopped grinding my own coffee because I could never get it fine enough for my small espresso machine. I have been having it ground at the store where I buy my espresso beans, therefore having to grind a a lot at one time and not having it freshly ground every day which is better for freshness. I thought I would give it a try myself, and was amazed at what a great, and fast job it did. There is one caveat that I see has been mentioned by some of the reviewers here. I love this product. I use it daily and love to froth milk for my morning coffee. It is terrific and it works great with all kinds of milk especially with whipping cream and evaporated milk. I barely go to Starbucks anymore when I can make my own lattés at home and taste even better. I've even converted my tea drinking spouse to drinking coffee! That says it all!

Works great for boiling water for Tea. Like many others said earlier, the lid does not open and shut smoothly. I had to boil and discard the water a few times before I started using the kettle as it has quite a strong smell of plastic initially. I like the detachable cord feature and the compact design of the kettle.

I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this machine. There are modifications you can make to get a finer grind but the design must have been updated as it provides an extremely fine grind at the finest setting. The burs heat up and if you don't let it cool as per the instructions it will affect taste.
