My daughter loves the Animal Field Trip game and the Arts and Crafts game. The Fundamentals game isn't as interesting for her - but it is probably a bit over her head (she is only 3). The Pet Playground game is horrible! There are only 2 games available - you have to play them many times just to buy a pet and then many more times to buy anything more for your pet (such as food, grooming supplies, etc). Plus, several areas of the game are locked out unless you have "Jump Start World" which costs up to $90! There is no warning or infomation on the box that implies that any additional purchases are needed to play the full game. I guess the 3 working discs we received were worth the $15 we paid.

Unlike one other commenter, we've enjoyed this game on three separate Macs. One running Panther (OS X 10.3), one running Tiger (OS X 10.4), and one running Leopard (OS X 10.5). Do not shy away from this game because one commenter couldn't seem to run it! All three of our kids absolutely love this game! It certainly helped our two oldest learn to read before kindergarten (on their own mostly). Our youngest is now enthralled with the game, so we're hopeful he'll follow in his siblings' footsteps.

Jumpstart World is one of those games for kids that make me remember back to my childhood. I'm a big videogame player and growing up i recall playing learning games in school like Math Blaster, or Oregon Trail. I got the chance to demo JumpStart World and wow, i'm just blown away. Educational games for kids have come such a long way from when i was in school playing them. Theres just so much content for kids to tackle, math, spelling, arts and crafts, owning pets, and just exploring the world. I think that's the best part about this game- it's that it finds a way to make it all FUN. I really do wish i was lucky to have played this growing up, and i highly recommend it for kids who are excited about learning!

I tried 3-4 Reader Rabbit Programs. They are hard to use. The navigation is not good. It takes significant learning effort to get used to the programs. I work in Software from 10 years. If its difficult to navigate for me, the kids definitely will not be able to navigate freely. It will not allow you to skip something. If the kids are using the same thing again and again and They want to skip the things they are bored of they are out of luck. It will not allow skip. Apart from that the program is educational. Another negative: The program does not install on computer. Every time you need to put the CD in to run the program. Have been very satisfied with all RR products. I keep buying, they keep playing. Excellent way to get boys to focus and learn! Highly recommended, makes a great gift too.

I bought this 3-Pack of Dora games for my 3 1/2 year old daughter; the first night she played for 2 1/2 hours straight and she still plays them everynight. They are fun and educational and keep her very entertained, and she is so proud of herself when she solves the games. She started out on Level 1 on all 3 games and after a month she is already doing the Level 3 version. Great for teaching colors, counting, numbers, and other skills.

I bought this game at the same time that I bought the JumpStart Toddler game. My son will be 2 in a few months and I thought that he would enjoy the Disney characters. I think that when he gets a little older and his computer skills get a little better he will enjoy these games much more. The only one that we have tried is the Mickey Mouse one. My son got bored fairliy quickly because he needed much more help than he needs with the Jumpstart game. I think that this game would be better for older toddlers.

Our daughter is 3 and plays these games over and over she is loving it! Works great on our computer and never crashes. The games are shape recognition, matching and following directions and other simple fun things that keep them wanting to play more and more and the entire time she is learing!! Love it!!
