i've been using the bullet for years and find its "dirty" sound just what i need. some may feel that this mic is too heavy, but i don't think it is. and since shure added a volume control i like it even better. if there is one thing i could say about the bullet that needs changing, it's the cable. it is really not secured strongly into the mic and if you happen to accidentaly step on it while you're playing, you stand a good chance of ripping it right out of the microphone. if it wasn't for that, i'd give the bullet a five star rateing

I am amazed that this cost so little, but was SOOOOO good. Sonnny Boy II is (IMHO) the better of the Sonny Boys. A lot of people will justifiably rave about his skill on the harp, but do not let that distract you from his vocals. This performer has a tremendous voice. Sonny Boy Williamson II is a complete blues package, musician and vocalist. Although he is a polished performer, there is still a huge amount of emotion that comes through his work. This recording is very clear and enjoyable, which is very good, considering the time and recording technology available when the originals were made. I love the Meisterklasse harmonica. I first came in contact with one when I went for my weekly massage at my brothers office. My massage therapist introduced me to the instrument. I was impressed with the sleek and sophisticated appearance of the Meisterklasse. I love the way the name brand Hohner appears on the top of the instrument alongside the model name. I also like the similarity between this instrument and the 150th anniversary models. On the down side however, I was not happy with the fact that the Meisterklasse does not sport numbered holes. Hohner Marine Band, Hohner Special 20 and Lee Oskar Major Diatonic harps fit well in this case. Hohner's Big River Harp does NOT fit properly in the case - it is longer than the others, and doesn't snug in. I'll either return the case or order two Lee Oskars to replace my two Big River models. Or, I can just deal with the fact that they don't fit quite properly, but probably "good enough". Decisions, decisions. Haven't played the toy harps yet, first things first. I bought the case for the case, not for the included harps.

This is classic Jon Gindick - Jon tells you entertaining stories while he gets you playing - meanwhile hipping you to harmonica lingo and musical situations - and to the coolness of the harmonica - in the process. Highly recommended.

This is a great harmonica, and even for a beginner who is learning to bend, I haven't broken it in months. Obviously this is not the "Ferrari" of harmonicas (I've heard that about the new Suzukis) but it is one of the best.
