THis is a great product compared to other flat irons. There is no need for the 'pink', or 'blue', they are all the same, as long as they are the genuine CHI brand.

OK, bit early to review this but I've used it twice, I use the Biosilk and was wondering IF this was any better and to be honest, they are both as good as each other! Would recommend this (alcohol free) and the Biosilk (does contain alcohol) but as stated, both make your hair feel silky soft especially with the use of a flat iron (I recommend a Solia flat iron).

After asking several people what kind of straight iron works the best, I purchased the CHI & love it. I've only used it a couple of times, but have found that it works really well. Heats up quickly & straightens my hair very easily. I was afraid I'd spend a lot of money & then get something that barely worked. I was pleasantly surprised!

I love this straightner! I have very thick,coarse hair and it took forever to straighten. I took a chance on the CHI straightner and it easily cuts my straighting time in half. It was well worth the money, even though it much more than I've ever spent on a straightner before. From now on, I'll only use this straightner!!

Our flat iron broke after minimal use in only 4 months. Normally that would be a small problem, but the seller "Payless Beauty" did not disclose that the manufacturer does NOT warranty items sold over the internet. We would recommend buying only from a brick and mortar establishment.

I bought this straightner over 6 years ago. It still works the same and gets just as hot as the day I first bought it. All my friends have gotten the straightner because it had a dramatic effect of my hair. It not only straightens it, it really does repair it. I have never seen my hair so shinny and silky before. PLEASE get his straightner. I HIGHLY recommened it to everyone. It is great. I will be buying these for my Christmas gifts this year!
