This Under Armour design allows a little leeway if you haven't been working on your abs as hard as you should have, but you still want to show off your pecs. I usually run 4-5 days a week, and take a spinning class 2-3 days a week. I used to wear Champion cotton boxer briefs while working out. But cotton boxer briefs have two drawbacks: 1) they don't compress your muscles, which is actually helpful in preventing pulls and strains; and 2) they get wet with sweat, and can lead to chafing and irritation. The UnderArmour boxerjock solves both of those problems. They are truly the most comfortable wicking fabric I've ever worn, and they, even if merely psychologically, make my workouts seem more effective. Yes, they are pricey. No getting around that. But in my opinion, they are truly worth the price.

I had some compression shirts from about 5 years ago. These new ones are not the same fabric quality as they used to be, fabric is lighter and less stretchy. Despite they fit perfectly and work fine, I'm worried about the durabilty of the shirt.

i have been wearing these shirts for years. workouts, casual wear or a base layer. excellent performance, so comfortable all year round. and they seem to wear forever after repeated washings. very little fraying after a year of numerous wear and washings. my only complaint: it seems to me that the 'midnight' colored shirt is a little longer than the other colors. and as i am tall (i wear the xxl)i only buy the midnight colored shirts. just something i had noticed when i bought my original shirts in a retail store during the last couple of years.

The material was uncomforatable for me especially once I started to sweat. I also bought an Under Armour Tech tee (no "team" in the product name) and that was much more comforatable. Felt somewhat cotton like but still performed well.

This "Loose Tee" is anything but. Very form-fitting (assuming you've earned a form to fit) but comfortable, this sleeveless T makes a great work-out shirt, running shirt and a sub-layer for cooler weather when you don't want sweat-retaining "killer cotton" next to your skin. Be careful of sizing, however. Since these shirts run on the snug side (deliberately), and if you're at the high end of the size range (e.g., the medium runs from 38 - 40 and you're a 40) go for the next size up. You'll be glad you did, and you won't look like Dick Cheney in a Speedo.
