This diffuser is not a good fit. It flies off my dryer! I bought it because the item description reads:Fits like a glove on T3 Tourmaline dryer model # 83808. I bought the dryer mentioned and the diffuser to go with it. It Does not Fit!!!!

I bought this exact iron over 3 years ago and I have loved it. I have thick, curly hair and this gets it really straight and it doesn't get frizzy at all. It does take much longer to do your hair wet to dry, but it does work. It's still a great iron for dry hair. Just recently the cord covering started to separate and it the wires have been shorting out. I think it's time for a new one, an upgrade. I will say that days after I bought it, I had a problem similar to what other reviewers have mentioned. It wouldn't turn on at all and I was pissed, but I went and tried it again the next day and it worked fine ever since.

THis is a great product compared to other flat irons. There is no need for the 'pink', or 'blue', they are all the same, as long as they are the genuine CHI brand.

After asking several people what kind of straight iron works the best, I purchased the CHI & love it. I've only used it a couple of times, but have found that it works really well. Heats up quickly & straightens my hair very easily. I was afraid I'd spend a lot of money & then get something that barely worked. I was pleasantly surprised!

I bought this dryer after much debate over its price about a month ago. I had decided the price was worthwhile given how much more expensive it is at regular stores in the mall compared to Amazon. Although it is still on the pricey side, I feel this was an excellent investment. I have fairly long hair that I blowdry every morning, and this dryer really does speed up that process. It's true that the dryer doesn't seem to blow with much force, or with much heat, but it actually dries my hair much faster than any of my old brands (conair, vidal sassoon) with less noise and without me working up a sweat. Did not come with serial # for product registration/warranty. When I contacted manufacturer, they suggested I return it and purchase directly through them (Tourmaline). While iron gets very hot (410 degrees - I have coarse/kinky hair), does not seem to flatten/straighten hair with silkeness/shine that other ionic irons that I have used in the past do. Also generates a rather unpleasant odor.

I love this straightner! I have very thick,coarse hair and it took forever to straighten. I took a chance on the CHI straightner and it easily cuts my straighting time in half. It was well worth the money, even though it much more than I've ever spent on a straightner before. From now on, I'll only use this straightner!!

I bought this to replace my Chi while I was living in Europe (the Chi doesn't come in 220v). It is as good (or bad) as any El Cheapo straightening iron you can pick up at Target. As many reviewers have noted, it tends to burn your hands as you iron. Worse still, you can't use any protective product (I used the Schwarzkopf Osis Flatliner Iron Serum and Toni and Guy's Iron-It Heat Defense Spray with my Chi with no such difficulty) - because it literally "fries" your hair, stinks terribly, and leaves gunky residue on the plates. Also, I found that I had to run the iron over my hair several times (my hair is wavy/curly, not coarse) in order to get it as straight and sleek as my old Chi. Save your $120 - you could get 1 T3, 1.5 Chi's, or 5 Conairs that would do a much better job than the Sedu. ... Read More

This is one book which truly gives honest, terrific advice about what its title indicates: How Not to Look Old. I have especially benefitted from the advice on what stockings to wear with a dress. I used to wear nude stockings. Now I am wearing black tights and they make this 47 year old look great. The author was right! I also learned I should not wear dark lip liner with dark lipstick. I am trying to find the right shade of pink lipstick. I really liked that the author gives actual brand names of products to try. And she doesn't just stick to expensive department store brands. If you like the show on TLC, What Not to Wear with Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, you will love this book.
