I previously had a Panasonic DMC-LZ2 with which I was satisfied, so I was comfortable with choosing another Panasonic DMC and familiar with many of the features and menus. The DMC-TZ3 has been an amazing little camera for a point and shoot that I got for just under $200. It has many extras that my LZ2 didn't have - love the candlelight setting - and it does well in low light. I put an 8G memory card in it and purchased an extra battery - these lasted through at least 1.5 hours of video and 150 pictures - both at the maximum quality. What a great camera! Canon makes and intuitive, quality product that produces excellent results. The small size of cameras in this line means that you can take the camera anywhere you go without the annoyance of bulky equipment. I've been very happy with my purchase. I bought a Kingston Travellite Card Reader with 2 GB SD Card to go along with this, which is very helpful for getting the photos from the SD card onto your computer. Also, be sure to pick up a case to protect the LCD screen on the back of the camera.

Had fun with it several different applications possible, just double A's and a meomory card 2gb...and you are all set...(I do reccamend getting one on here as they are far cheaper.) The bad... The clip...is "really tight" and tough to connect/disconnect to the mounts with the camera some might see it as a bad thing as other might want this...Depends on if you want to have several differnt application for its use. The three buttons work, but can be...very stubburn. Thats it, great fun...offers a different POV and Im looking foward to using it on car cruises!

With the price of mini-DV and even HD consumer camcorders continuing to come down, the one thing that separates (most of) them from the pro and prosumer camcorders is a lack of microphone inputs and a lack of a headphone output to monitor audio. One of the overlooked uses of the H4 is that the Neutrik combine XLR and ¼" inputs (with phantom power) make it an ideal "front end" to interface pro microphones with consumer camcorders. This is the 2nd Canon a-series camera I've had. Both have had problems relating to the lens cover. My daughter also had problems. Although the camera takes great pictures, the lens cover problems makes this series less than desirable. On the A560, the lens cover requires a finger nail assist to open. It's annoying after a while. My next camera will not be a Canon.

The PalmTX is a great product. Well designed, light, reliable. The processor seems quick enough for most tasks and the display is easy to read. It is certainly a step up from previous products and I especially enjoy the WIFI access. The one disappointment I have is that it is a little slower in translating graffiti strokes to text. I have not yet learned to slow down and so I must correct many mistakes. I'm sure I will adjust, but I do miss the previous speed which appraoched normal printing.

This is my THIRD Canon Elph, and I enjoy each one more than the previous one. As a happy owner of an SD400, I moved onto this one as an upgrade and I have not been disappointed. The functions of this one are even better than previous models. The video is actually SO great for a small point and shoot that I find myself using it more and more for clips of the kids and we watch the video on a HUGE screen tv and it looks great! I think redeye processing on this model has improved a bit over the previous model, but I still think it could do better. That's really my ONLY complaint with this camera. I've taken great shots and had them blown up to posters for my wall. I love the fun color features of this camera as well.
