I already had this product and wanted to buy another as a gift. Very pleased with product and it really is squirrel proof. Is is less expensive and much better design then other squirrel proof feeders that I have seen

Just purchased a bird feeder. Had no idea the birds went through seed so quickly. I bought this brand because it said it attracted a wide variety of birds. It got eaten rather quickly, and we bought an economical bird seed but was not as good as this first package. This brand did not leave a lot of shells on the ground, whereas the value brand did. I highly recommend this bird seed, keeping in mind that it is not the cheapest alternative out there.

After a couple of weeks .. squirrels gave up .. but now i miss their antics.

I was skeptical at first; nothing is going to attract hummingbirds to my front lawn. Boy, was I wrong! I have never seen a hummer in my life, and when I placed this feeder up, they came! What a wonderful product! Make sure you mix the right solution. For this feeder, I use 1/2 cup of white sugar to 2 cups of warm spring water. You need to mix until the sugar is dissolved and change "at least" twice a week in the warmer months. This product is also very easy to take apart and clean. I rinse and brush the feeder out well with hot water before I use it again. Another feature I love, no flying, creeping, or crawling bugs when you clean this feeder... Amen to that!!!

I'm very happy with the bird feeder and the birds are really liking it also, it's nice that there's 2 levels for the birds to get feed from. Only two things I wasn't happy with, is it doesn't come with a pole and the second level didn't come with the perches for the birds to sit on.

I think this is a terrific book because it is easy to quickly identify birds with their well laid-out information, quick identification tips and specific tips as to what to look for when identifying a bird. Some of the tips are paying attention to bird stance, beak shape, crown feathers etc ... They also show birds that look similar to other birds so you can compare the possibilities of who just flew away. And they have easy color guides of what birds are seasonally-where on the map; the one draw-back is that they have birds that would never come to the North East, not many, but they are in the guide. I keep this book on the window sill by my feeder and enjoy it all winter long! I will also but one for my mom.

This is the second squirrelproof birdfeeder I've bought. The first one lasted 12 years. It's a hoot to watch squirrels try to get the seeds. It's very well made. This model also has a green powdercoat finish that will most likely look better longer. I prefer the pole mount but it also comes with a hanging wire which is nice. This is a quality product that is a joy to own.

This design has no tray to stop seeds from falling to the ground. I have watched small birds knock 5 sunflower seeds to the ground, eat one, knock 5 to the ground, eat one, etc. The squirrels are getting more seeds now from the ground than from our old feeder that they would occasionally jump to. I have twice seen the feeder swinging wildly no doubt from a squirrel, but have never actually seen a squirrel on it, so don't expect any entertainment like shown on the video.
