After buying the drinkwell water fountain, I was concerned about the replacing the water filters, and how much maintenance it would take but buying the replacement has been hassle free, and my cats loves the water fountain. Buying this package has been practical because it has three water filters.

The Reservoir did not come with the inside rubber band that helps seal it......result, it leaks like a sieve. The receipt says I cannot return "used" products, so I'm stuck with it.

I bought this with my fountain, and am kind of disappointed with the largest brush. It has very stiff bristles, and does not have enough on the tip to do a thorough job of cleaning the tank or bowl. The smaller brushes do a good job, but I think that some pipe cleaners would do just as good, and a baby bottle brush would be far superior to the large brush. I say save your money on this pack of brushes.

This is the first negative review of a product I have made. I just purchased the drinkwell platinum, the aqua garden, and pretty much all of the extra accessories that go along with it. I love the fountain, it really works well, and both my dogs and my cat like it, and drink more. I really wanted to like the aqua garden as well (especially since I bought the starter plus 2 more packages of refills). My cat is the only one who eats the grass, but as another reviewer stated, he eats it about as fast as it grows. So, what is supposed to look like a somewhat lush little patch of kitty grass, looks like a stringy few pieces of almost dead grass. I purchased the aqua garden along with the platinum fountain and 2 refills for the garden. I am regretting my purchase of the aqua garden and refills. I have one cat that eats the grass, and it is not the lush little pod of kitty grass that grows, but a sparse few thin blades of inferior grass. It took a few days to start growing (no big deal), but then it really did not grow well after that. My cat does gnaw on it, but either he is eating faster than it grows, or it just is not growing well. I feel that the kind in dirt that you can buy at the pet store is a better fit (at least for my kitty). I am going to try starting it in a different container and then putting it into the fountain, so I will update if there is any improvement with that method.

I think every great pet lover should buy the Drinkwell Pet Fountain. You should buy the 70 oz. reservior so that when you go on vacation your pet will have plenty of water. I was gone for a week and the extra 70 oz. held up while I was gone. I had bought my first Pet Fountain from a Pet store and paid alot more for it. When it gave out , I went to Amazon and they got me ALOT better price. I would highly suggest you love your pet enough to give him (or her) the best and buy this product to show you care !!!

I had expected better results with the FURminator. It did O.K. with my medium long hair cat, but not any better than a less expensive fur rake does with my long thick fur cat. I suggest going with a longer width than what is recommended for cats. In my opinion, the short width of the tool made it tedious when combing my extra large cat. If I had had the opportunity of trying this product before buying, I probably would not have bought it at the given price.

We also experienced a problem with the digital display within the first month. Amazon was GREAT....I just notified them and they immediately shipped out a replacement BEFORE I returned the defective one. We had it within 2-3 days. Amazon not only had the best price but the best service. We also agree with other reports that small kibble is dispensed at quantity greater than requested. However, it is such a great device to wean kitty off of human feedings. She waits for sound of machine dispensing food and does not "ask" to be fed. Also great when kitty is left home alone for a few days!

After reading the other reviews I decided to spend the money on this about a month ago. We put our place on the market and also were going out of town. I wanted something that would contain the litter and hide it but would also be easy for the neighbor to stop in and take care of it. This thing is really easy to use. I use 'Scoop Away' brand litter- and by preference add extra baking soda. I keep about 3 inches or so of litter in the bottom and it works great for my two cats. I clear it out every morning (takes less than a minute) and once a week I open the whole thing to make sure there isn't too much build up on the grate inside- very easy to do. Also- when you have the thing rotated- just tap it on the bottom to make sure the clumps don't stick. Very nice to not have to bend over digging in the litter ... Read More
