My girl just love this four Living books, she plays them a lot, over and over (she is five years old, and does have english as her second language, and they help her to build up her english skills, while she is having fun) . She can choose if she want to hear it like a story, or if she wants to play bye clicking on the pictures on each page. It says up to 7 years on the games, but I should say it fits more 3-5 years old, older would bee bored after playing it once or twice. We just used them on windows 98, and they workes greate. 15 dollar is a greate price for them, under 5 dollars per game! Definatly worth the money!!

If you are thinking of buying this product be sure to check to see if your computer is compatible. We have a Mac OS X and the Tortoise and the Hare is too old a program for it. As far as we can tell it runs only on version 7. Don't be mislead by the fact that is says for Mac versions 7 or higher on the case, it is not true and I suspect it will be a similar situation for computers running Windows.

This is a great learning CD. Kids learn while playing. My 4 year old grandson, who never sits still, actually sat and played this for over 2 hours. He loves it. My daughter was in shock. I would highly recommend this CD.

This adaptation of the wonderful story of the little fruit bat Stellaluna is absolutely engaging. With terrific graphics and music is is a must-have for anyone wishing to tell the positive story of cultural diversity. There is a great deal of acceptance; the birds accept Stellaluna even though she has some peculiar habits (hanging upside down)and Stellaluna even learns to eat worms although she'd much prefer fruit. A lovely story made even better by the rich visuals and music.

My 8-year-old daughter loves this. And I like it, too, because it is teaching her some logical reasoning in an entertaining setting. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of two small flaws: - you can't stop the game and save it at each level, you have to get through a few. This makes it harder to have her stop when it is time to go to bed / go to school / etc. For the parent's sake, please make games easy to save at any point. - getting all the zombini's forward is a bit repetitive. On the plus side, though, this does make sure she really learns the lessons and becomes adept at solving the logical puzzles. Nice game!

I bought this for a birthday a few weeks ahead of time. Got the message from the seller that it was on its way and never received it. I emailed them and they later said they overlooked the email. Fine but when I finally got the disc a month later (of course the second came two days after that) it didn't work. Neither did the second. In all the mix up Amazon ended up crediting me before the discs came (I paid $5 with shipping), so no harm done. But it just so happens that I found another at a thrift store (again before the two others came) and it didn't work either(not because of scratches). Must be a whole lot of them out there that got recorded wrong.
