The product is wonderful. It is sturdy as promised. The problem is the instructions and assembly. I was naive in thinking that it would come already put together. The problem came with the assembly. There were 12 steps to the process so it looked "easy enough" but the parts were not labelled so you had to guess by the picture which piece was diagram referring to. There is no way on the diagram or on the parts to tell front from back so after 3 attempts, it was put up properly. Once, the stand was finally constructed, the next issue was adjustment. The only way to adjust and transport the stand is to continuously remove the locking bolt so there is the potential of eventually losing the bolt. The book, 'Teaching Little Finger to Play', was resonably priced, arrived on time, and in great condition. This was a great shopping experience.

The stand is fine. Solid, and easy to put together. The stand was listed as an option with the Casio PX110 keyboard, but the box for the stand says it is "approved for use only with CTX, WK and LK series Casio keyboards." Not sure what it means if you use a different series keyboard with the stand. Otherwise, I have no concerns about the purchase of the stand.

Light and so easy to carry. Will certainly hold an average adult. We use it to go to our prison services and thus it had to be something that we could easily carry. Just what we needed and what a great price! Well satisfied.

I have been teaching piano to children and adult beginners for five years now. At first I picked up this "classic" for my young beginners, ages 4-7. Experience has taught me that this method is tedious, slow and CONFUSING. Too much information is thrown at the learners in the first three written pages. Too little actual playing is done from the get-go. At an estate sale I found an old, out-of-print book that helped me to re-think ALL of the current piano methods. This keyboard stand is HORRIBLE! It is easily the worst thing I have every purchased on Amazon. I have owned it for 10 minutes, and it is not stable or flat, which are really the key things a stand needs to be. The allen screws strip, so you can't tighten them, but even when they were tightened the first time, it still wobbles all over the place. No product is perfect, but this one fails at the one thing it is designed to do!

I purchased this for my son last Christmas (I paid around 40.00 new for it on Amazon, but noticed the price has doubled). We can great fun with it until the next day it broke. I know things happen such as this, and it was probably just "bad luck" for me---but I would not advise paying more than $20.00 for this.
