The description is misleading- it says the shirts are made of Jersey Cotton. What they don't say is that they are 20% polyester. Yes, 20%! I can't even wear 1%. I had already purchased these, and of course presumed no one on earth still made poly cotton blends, so I had not idea why I was so sweaty and uncomfortable in these shirts. They were a total misery. I looked at the label and there it was- 20% poly. It's probably too late to send them back. If you can't wear synthetics, avoid these shirts like the plague.

American Apparel makes an excellent short sleeved polo shirt! The stitching is really quite good--in fact, it's very well done. The shirt is great for everyday sharp dressing for us gents; but as Amazon notes it can be worn by women as well. Nobody notices anything! In addition, the shirt pocket is helpful if you want to carry a pen or some notes with you when you're "on the go." The stitching is particularly well done at the cuffs and neck. If you take good care of this shirt, it can last years with the proper care. It is 100% cotton so you'll either have to iron it after the wash and dry cycle--or you may actually prefer to take the shirt to the cleaners instead. The fit on these is great if you're slim or athletic. Just for reference I'm about 5'8" and 155 lbs and the Medium is great, I really want a couple more in different colors. The quality is great too for the price. Most $10 shirts I buy fall apart or get stretched relatively quickly because I'm not easy on my shirts, but this one is holding up pretty well.

I bought them in white and melange olive, the olive is a really nice colour, goes well with black pants. The style is unisex, I am 113 lbs, 34A, the xxsmall fits me perfect. The shirt is not too long, yet not too short, I would say about 25 inchs inseam from the shoulders.

As a result of reading other reviews, and after checking their sizing charts, I ordered this garment a size larger than I normally wear. I usually wear an X-Large so I ordered an XX-Large. It was still slightly small. They seem to make their clothing about a size and a quarter too small. I also thought the shipping charge was a bit excessive. Otherwise I'm satisfied with the product.
