I have enjoyed Jannette Oke books for many years and was thrilled to see this her first series to come out in movie form. The story follows the book for the most part. The characters are believable and real. The production is high quality with great beauty. You will laugh and cry with Missy. I cannot imagine taking off in a covered wagon and not seeing my family again. If you have seen the whole series then you know the outcome of that. I highly recommend this a s great Christian and family moral value film.

There are 6 episodes of this miniseries. Made by Hallmark. These are great family movies. We absolutely love everyone of them. Very adventurous and exciting series.

I absolutely love this whole series. Janette Oke is the best. It's been quite a long time since an inspiring series like this has come along. I really like Michael Landon, Jr.'s style. He makes you believe you are back in the time of horse and wagon. I think we need more of this type of movie today. Get back to basics. The story from start to finish keeps you drawn in. You're always wondering what will happen next. I would recommend this movie and the entire series to anyone who likes a good old fashion love story. I will watch it again and again. The charactors fit very well into the story.

The movie maintains the wonderful story line of the previous movies in the series. It was definitely a movie for the whole family to enjoy.

I love this film not only because I found it romantic but because of the scenic beauty of the landscapes and the fine acting all around. It was a very well done film by Hallmark. Andrew McCarthy does an absolutely superb job of playing the role of a grieving husband who is unyielding to finding new love when it's right in front of him. I highly recommend this film to those with an open heart.

It is painful when you have to review a film for what it IS, without influencing your opinons with how great the author is, how decent the costuming was, or how attractive the actors were in their roles. It is a shame.... that the film was low budget, and was not able to live up to the potential that I could forsee this story having. The music hit me first off, verrrry cheesy/low budget, and was often times distracting. The acting was theatrical and forced on the part of almost EVERY actor, with the exception of the Hero & Heroine (they were fabulous). is of course the strongest part of this movie. I found the actors also very good, very natural. The weak part of the movie is the "love story". Whereas the story of the sisters is convincingly developed, the relationship is negligently drawn up. The ending is unconvincing, rather haphazardly done. It leaves the actors and the viewers "in the air" somehow.

This is one of the best christmas movie I have seen. I wish they would do a part 2 of the Christmas Card. Great cast in this movie and the acting wonderful . I dont want to give the story away. It is a must too see
