I honestly don't know if this product works because I don't need it. What I've been using for years works for my cats. I've had a total of four cats that I've used this on and have absolutely no problems with fleas or ticks. Two of these cats were indoor/outdoor cats, in Florida, where fleas are more than abundant. I simply put an amethyst in their water. I know, it makes no logical sense. I thought the same thing when a friend told me, but I tried it anyway and for some reason it works. I've used Advantage for years on both cats and dogs and found it to be very effective for flea control. Last year I decided to try Frontline, even though it is more expensive than Advantage, because I read somewhere that Frontline also kills earmites. It may have got rid of the earmite but did not get rid of the fleas and my 3 big dogs still continue to scratch even after applying Frontline so from now on I will be switching back to Advantage.

This stuff is amazing! It helped clear up my flea problem when another popular flea product couldn't. I highly recommend it.

Thank God for Amazon's pricing on this flea medication. It's much cheaper than buying from the vet's office and I'm convinced that it's more reliable buying from Amazon than from the multitude of other websites out there. For one, you won't have to worry about paying for shipping or tax. As for whether it's worth it or not, my sister's apartment had a flea infestation which caused terrible bites and eventually forced her to move apartments. It also caused a lot of anguish when moving her items as it was likely that fleas would migrate with her. Who knows how effective this medication actually is, but fleas haven't been in my house since I got my cat and that peace of mind--warranted or not--is worth the price.

Advantage is no longer a new product, but it still seems miraculous to people and pets who used to wage a continuous fight against fleas. It's amazing that a few small monthly applications can end flea misery forever.

I have never had problems with fleas on my 7 lb yorkie. We switched over from Revolution to Advantage because of the great price and free shipping here on Amazon. Poor dog got fleas after starting Advantage and even putting the medicine on again after less than a month, the fleas are still alive and healthy! Maybe this is a bad batch from Amazon but I'm throwing the last 4 months away and going back to Revolution.

Buying Frontline at a vet is substantially more expensive than through Amazon. If you have used the product for a number of years via going thru the vet, this is a cheaper option.
