These CO2 cartridges are for routine maintenance of the Mosquito Magnet. I use them as the instructions advise. I've used our Mosquito Magnet every summer for four years and it works great. You MUST position the MM correctly, however. If you don't, it doesn't work. You have to actually READ and FOLLOW the instructions -- odd idea, I guess.

This is a terrible product that might work for a few milliseconds and then might not ever again. It is a shame, but it is not functional over any length of time. Ours lasted 1/2 tank of fuel, did great and then never worked again after emptying the dead skeeters out. Phone calls etc were just worse than useless. To Amazon's credit, I did get my money back. I would like to have something like this that did work.

Fast delivery and low price from this store. The net is just the right size for my Mosquito Magnet Defender 4000, just like the other net I bought for a higher price, that's why you shouldn't pay the twice from other sellers.

This is probably a very good product in other parts of the country, but after extensive use, it does not work in South Texas.

We love this machine. This is the second one. They work even better now that we switched to the Lurex3 instead of Octenol. We live in Oklahoma and the entire West side of our home is water. These machines allow us to enjoy being outside. Before we were eaten alive and stayed in the house.

I was lucky enough to pick one of these up at an Ace Hardware that was going out of business. Everything was discounted 50% including several brand-new Mosquito Magnets. I picked one up for $250... yet I still feel ripped off. Did it Work? Mostly - I'd reason to guess it reduced the population by 90%, which I was excited about. But the truth is it doesn't really matter if there is 1, 5, or 20 mosquitoes attacking you... as long as there are still SOME you still end up with bites. I ran the machine from April till it crapped out in September in the Chicago Suburbs. My backyard is about 1/16 of an acre; entire plot is about 1/4.
