I have tried several pedometers over the last couple of years. I found this one to be easy to program and use. The numbers are big enough it can be read easily without my glasses. I have tested against other machines to see the accuracy of my numbers and found it to be right on the mark. I loved it so much I have bought one for my walking partner!

I bought this about 6 months ago and it died. It all started about 2 days after i bought it. Whenever i would hit the big button to turn on the light on the watch it would make the numbers impossible to see. I thought it was a normal reaction to dying batteries, so i replaced them (I had just received the watch). That seemed to fix the problem for about 1 week. then it started to get worse and worse. I replaced the battery 2 more times (making this bargain watch less bargain). Then yesterday it died completely when i tried to turn on the light on the watch. I will go with a polar next time. it may be more expensive, but my friends who have them are still using them while i am burying mine in the back yard in a solemn ceremony tonight. 'Ave Maria'

I have lost approximately 70 lbs. in the last 4 months... I'd have an exact figure if only I had not put off purchasing this scale until 2 and a half months ago! This is the best scale I've ever utilized and provides me daily input as to the reality of my momentum! This Pedimoter is very comfortable to wear and works very accurately. I carry it daily to monitor my walking exercise which assists in my wieght loss. I had another Omron pedimoter first and this one is even more comfortable and the 7 day record keeping is very helpful.

Worked ok for first couple of weeks. I think i am going to have to return it. That positioning sensor is very difficult to get just right. I'm disapointed, I delibertly shopped for Omron because I have other Omron products and they work just fine. Zondra Brownlee

This monitor provided poor results. I compared it to readings at home with an Omron wrist monitor (ModelRX2). It typically reads 20-25 units higher than the wrist monitor for both systolic and diastolic. The wrist monitor has been reasonably consistent and agrees well with my readings at the doctor's office, and another wrist monitor (HEM-608). I took this monitor to the doctor's office as well, and it was 30 units higher than the nurse's and doctor's measurements. My doctor recommended I not use it. He was more pleased with my wrist monitor. As such I have returned the HEM-90IT and am using the wrist monitor since I have much more confidence in it. I bought this unit for its computer record keeping, but its not worth it if I have little confidence in the numbers.
