The AJN charged me twice for one subscription and then refused to give me a refund. The customer service reps were rude to deal with and I will never buy this product again.

This magazine was the worst I have ever read pertaining to the health care field. Do yourself a favor, don't even pick it up.

I am almost finished with the LPN program and I found this magazine very useful and helpful. Its another tool to learn more about diseases, nursing, and helps make classroom information more familiar. The only downside is that it does take an extremly long time for the magazine to come (more than the 6-8wks of other magazines I have ordered) and they do send alot of past issues and then send a renew notice. It is an attractive magazine, the pictures and illustrations are helpful and interesting to look at. So I would reccomend it to anyone in school :)

RN Placed an order for RN Magazine January 28th. It is now April 12th and I still have not received my first magazine. My account has already been debited, however. Disappointed with the inefficiency of RN magazine. If you are thinking about ordering this magazine, be prepared to wait months.

I am a pediatric nurse, RN working in a busy outpatient department. I am also a Pediatric instructor at City College of San Francisco. I found this book to be a great and quick reference. The book is divided into sections by systems which I find to be helpful. The pictures are great and they have boxes that will highlight key points and pediatric pearls; which highlight key physical findings and techniques to improve pediatric exams. I like that the book is spiral bound. It makes it easy to read as it lies flat on a table or you could fold it back. I've used the photo's to show a new mother the anatomy of the skull of the newborn. She had questions about her baby's fontanels. I would highly recommend this book! DMG RN MSN IBCLC

I've been a big fan of many of Jodi Picoult's books, especially "Change of Heart" and "My Sister's Keeper," but this book was a huge disappointment. The storyline, like the main character, can't seem to figure out where it wants to go. My biggest problem with the book, however, is the main male character. Nicholas is such a complete jerk, arrogant, angry, selfish and self-absorbed . . . I was honestly hoping that he'd be hit by a truck so that Paige and her son could put their lives together and move on. I would not have been surprised if he had turned out to be a physically abusive husband--he has all of the psychological characteristics of an abuser. I could not believe that he could change, and so I did not want the lovers to reunite. I wanted Paige to take her son and run away and never be found. ... Read More
