Let me first start by saying the stand was indeed a pain to put together...It didn't take me too long though (35 minutes or so), but like the other reviewers said, the directions arent the clearest, and you do have to stare at the picture...intently...to figure it out...but it is defiantely do-able. As far as the quality of the stand goes, IT'S EXCELLENT!!! The stand is extremely sturdy; I've had it for about 2 months now with no problem. I noticed some people were a bit peeved because the keyboard is advertised as a Yamaha product, and some people said it didnt fit their Yamaha keyboards. The product is definately NOT a Yamaha brand stand, the logo is no where to be found on the actual product. However, it fits my M-Audio 88-key keyboard just fine. False advertising, bit of a pain to ... Read More

This pedal is outstanding for the price. The feel is great and it doesn't move at all when you put it down on the floor. The only thing I disliked was that it doesn't support "half dampening" like most of the higher end pedals around this price range.

I got this for Christmas of 2007 and it is still going strong used every day in my recording studio.

Great product

seems to be right size; but got it together & then found ink or grease on my hand; am trying to find where it came from without un-screwing whole thing; whatever it is ruined bed spread I was sitting on to assemble, too. Let me know where you think it came from. Is not on outside of box.

Pedal is well-built (steel, not plastic) and seems like it will last quite a while. It will get a great deal of use on stage.

The product is wonderful. It is sturdy as promised. The problem is the instructions and assembly. I was naive in thinking that it would come already put together.

The problem came with the assembly. There were 12 steps to the process so it looked "easy enough" but the parts were not labelled so you had to guess by the picture which piece was diagram referring to. There is no way on the diagram or on the parts to tell front from back so after 3 attempts, it was put up properly. Once, the stand was finally constructed, the next issue was adjustment. The only way to adjust and transport the stand is to continuously remove the locking bolt so there is the potential of eventually losing the bolt. There is not a spare but of course, you can always go to your local hardware store and ... Read More

I love my Yamaha FC4 foot pedal. I use it with my DGX-620. I have it alongside an FC5 foot switch, and believe me, the two of them just don't complement each other.

I have used this pedal with my other keyboards, and found that it really replicates the functionality of a real piano pedal. If I had my way, I'd get rid of the FC5 and upgrade it to another FC4.

If you have a keyboard that supports a pedal, this is the pedal you need.

may be i was a fool expecting this keyboard to be a wonderful instrument, cause this is far not the best keyboard among all of these crapy cheap keyboards..
with its 61 keys it has a beautiful setting that u can extend octaves. this yamaha has no touch sensitivity and it's a pity...
whatever.. if u have just started learning to play piano or something and u want cheap and not very bulky thing to practice your skills it's worth buying.. and if u don't care about touch sensitivity of course...

Your gear will run like new using this line lump. I don't understand why I should have a line lump when they could've put the transformer inside the instrument. I suppose it cuts costs, but why cut costs in the pro audio market?

Excellent book for beginners. I started playing the piano when I was in grade school, a girl would go and have her piano lessons, and then come home and teach them to me. This book helped me to remember more than anything.

The only irk(s) I have with it is, maybe it is just my copy (although I doubt it...), the Greensleeves song (on page 82-83), has a note that is incorrect. No big deal, I just penciled in the correct note, but it did take some tracking down to make sure that I am correct.

The first 2 F#'s that are in the song should be F naturals. That is in bar three (3) and bar eleven (11) in the song.

Also, when I got to the end of the book I was so happy that I completed it and the award certificate is cute as well, I just wish it were on another ... Read More
