This magazine perfectly reflects the American attitudes toward child-rearing. It "mentions" breastfeeding, but it's only a token mention. In the very next paragraph is information that contradicts all the fundamentals of breastfeeding. Sleeping through the night no later than 4 months?? Breastfed babies often need an overnight feeding through their ninth month. This is just one example. I don't care that this magazine is free or only a few dollars a year. I will not be bringing this useless pile of crap into my house anymore.

I LOVE Wondertime. I'm a charter subscriber. I get other more "mainstream" parenting magazines, and they are full of nothing but fluff - regurgitations of the same articles I've read a million times already. Wondertime is fresh and exciting. I'm not surprised to see it getting lower reviews, because it is geared more toward the intelligentsia and upwardly mobile. Perhaps many of the subscribers reviewing here just don't "get it". It's a great magazine for those of us that think Parents is full of fluff and mainstream crap (like cry-it-out advice and how to keep up with the Joneses) but think that Mothering is waaaaaaaaaay too extreme on the other end. It's a nice combination.

Family Fun is an accurate title for this magazine. It is full of easy craft and game ideas for all ages

Good Housekeeping (2-year) I've used other online places to buy magazines and waited up to 6 months to see my first issues! Amazon was quick, easy and my Good Housekeeping arrived the next month! I hadn't received GH for a few years and I'm happy to read it again. GH has changed some and for the better.

The first few pages are nothing but ads. But there are several good articles. I would reorder this magazine.

I love Marie Claire magazine! I have been a subscriber for over 5 years and I hope they never change this magazine. It has ton of great make-up, fashion and beauty articles but it also has lots of intelligent articles. It keeps readers looking good but also keeps readers informed about the U.S, world problems, and womens rights issues around the world. Unlike other fashion magazines, Marie Claire is not self absorbed or full of snooty articles or ugly clothing that costs as much as my house. It is a really good, interesting magazine at a great price!!

This is a magazine that everyone can read, and either enjoy or lean something in.......a very worth while purchase.......you can read it anywhere.....articles are short & sweet--to the point....a real bonus for us working people.......men can even read it.....
