This seems to be an interesting magazine for young professionals. Gives good insight on different industries, possible ventures which could be successful and general information which is good to know if you want to start something. Good magazine. Looking forward to reading my first issue. I had put 2 stars at first as it took forever to come but after reading the magazine I would give it 4 stars.. doesn't let me change the rating now. :-/ ====================================================== 11/1/08 So I get an email saying that my subscription to Inc. has been canceled cuz they have exceeded subscriptions. WTF! Pay me back my money!!!

Joe Mansueto, founder of Morningstar, has been a lifelong advocate for design and its value in business. He carries that belief over to his Fast Company magazine. I'm sure this is more for the tech minded; but, there's still enough in it for the rest of us. If you have time and enjoy spending it thumbing thru magazines, this one is certainly entertaining. The ads are sleek, the men are handsome and there's tidbits of info for everyone.

I had read reviews indicating that it may take a long time to receive the magazine after my order. I must say I received it extremely quick and I've been very impressed with the delivery as well as content of the magazine. Highly recommend!

I ordered the subscription at $29.98 for the year, then happened to be at a bookstore the next day and saw that the insert in the magazine had the cost at only $19.98!!! Amazon was 50% more expensive, so I immediately cancelled the subscription order from Amazon. Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED to see that Amazon was gouging me by 50%

An annual subscription provides so many articles and financial tips that you can use, regardless of your financial situation, that the magazine will pay for itself! Taxes, insurance, investments, retirement, home ownership and major purchases. I really like to gift an annual subscription for friends who are having trouble getting a handle on their finances. They've come back and thanked me for introducing them to Kiplinger's Personal Finance -- and they've renewed their subscriptions. Our family uses this magazine and Consumer Reports to help us make all of our major purchases. We've saved money on cars, TVs, washers, dryers, refrigerators and a gas grill.

Forbes has some problems: 1. each issue features yet more conservative opinions promoting trickle down theory. If you want to read articles written by Steve Forbes complaining about having to pay taxes, this is for you! 2. after the Steve Forbes commentary, you find yet another billionaire or celebrity salary ranking. If you like to brown nose rich people, this is for you! There is very little investment or actual business advice. Don't even waste your time or money on this magazine, it serves no practical purpose.

Be careful with this company... I recieved a card in the mail for a gift membership to this magazine. I thought it would be a cool gift so I filled the card out as an interested party. They started sending the magazine without recieving any money from me to start the subscription... well after thinking about it I decided not to do it so I did not want to pay for it. They continued to send it I thought in error... Now over a year later they send me a collection letter from a collection compnay for the 19.95 subscription fee. Why would a company send a product before being paid.. to rip off customers. OK magazine but I would not bother with this company ever.

Just look at the cover...is this magazine targeted at the single male or what?....but GQ isn't glib...it has great articles,great photography,it's quality! If you enjoy this magazine you will almost certianly enjoy the new dvd "Single a documentary film"..it features a cast of entertaing and thought provoking experts,comics,Singer/songwriters and "real life" people sharing their insights and observations about the complexities of relationships in todays crazy world" Also available on Amazon.com
