I'm sure this is more for the tech minded; but, there's still enough in it for the rest of us. If you have time and enjoy spending it thumbing thru magazines, this one is certainly entertaining. The ads are sleek, the men are handsome and there's tidbits of info for everyone.

I read PC Mag, Maximum PC, and a couple of gamer PC mags. As an IT pro, I don't look to this magazine to be an end-all-be-all magazine. It would have to be thousands of pages per month to do that! I use it to keep up to date with various models, some "up and coming" stuff, and to keep my finger on the tech world and where it is going. It cracks me up how windows lovers get mad at the Mac content, and Mac Lovers are just sure that this is only a windows magazine. Their bias shows. PCMAG frequently has articles about the 2 most popular operating systems, plus plenty of articles about Linux distros, too. Maximum PC is an interesting well written magazine. It is also loaded with information about new technology and hardware not yet on the market. I love this magazine.

I ordered this magazine through Amazon 6 months ago; called subscription service 3 months ago. No magazine. But my $13 is history.

I have been happy with the mag. but the only problem I have is that it tends to focus specifically on the latest OS. I understand there are a lot of people who have leopard but some of us still are happy using tiger. I have ordered another year so I would recommend this.

Even though I was told to expect to wait 6 - 8 weeks for my subscription to begin, I received two issues within a month. The price was excellent.

Be careful with this company... I recieved a card in the mail for a gift membership to this magazine. I thought it would be a cool gift so I filled the card out as an interested party. They started sending the magazine without recieving any money from me to start the subscription... well after thinking about it I decided not to do it so I did not want to pay for it. They continued to send it I thought in error... Now over a year later they send me a collection letter from a collection compnay for the 19.95 subscription fee. Why would a company send a product before being paid.. to rip off customers. OK magazine but I would not bother with this company ever.
