The kids picked it up in no time (ages 9 & 6.) Me, I couldn't figure it out but at least they enjoyed it. However they beat it in one day.

This game can be called a beneficial game to play . Meaning in that it helps with people of all ages with developing problem solving and cognitive thinking;as well as being a fun game with great graphics as well. I have tried this before so I know what I was getting into and pretty much so have gotten pretty good at it.. I have played various puzzle games in the past. Dr Mario, Tetris. various online ones at pogo.com and such. I find this one to be the most interesting as it offers alotta variety and skill levels . From very simple to quite trying and complex . This game would be great too for children for helping develop those problem solving skills they will need later in life as well. I'm not happy with the manner in which they executed the story-based gameplay. Your child's progress to the next segment is dependant on your child laboriously clicking to figure out what to do next. Even when you're certain where you need to go, it is a chore to walk Mia to the next location. Would be great it they had some software patches to make the "click boxes" for certain targets larger so Mia does not walk aimlessly into a circle when we're trying to make her perform an action on a item or simply walk a certain direction. The educational content we experienced includes but was not limited to simple arithmetic, filling in missing numbers from sequence, knowing how to adjust the clock, distinguishing between shapes, matching symmetry, sorting and identifying numbers. Maybe I'm too old for this kind of game, but I was confused by a number of the tasks. The clock section never did make sense to me. Neither did the garden or the corral. I just didn't get the ideas and the instructions were vague. I was dissappointed.

My child is having issues with phonics. We ordered this game in the hopes to give him a love for language and phonics. It worked. He is performing better on his phonics and language tests-he is now passing them. He enjoys reading, and he is actually writing stories. This has been a good purchase and the former reviews are correct.

My 8-year-old daughter loves this. And I like it, too, because it is teaching her some logical reasoning in an entertaining setting. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of two small flaws: - you can't stop the game and save it at each level, you have to get through a few. This makes it harder to have her stop when it is time to go to bed / go to school / etc. For the parent's sake, please make games easy to save at any point. - getting all the zombini's forward is a bit repetitive. On the plus side, though, this does make sure she really learns the lessons and becomes adept at solving the logical puzzles. Nice game!

We own all the I Spy computer games. Both my 4-y-o son and 6-y-o daughter love to play them. They definitely learn a lot and are really using their thinking skills. Recommend them all!
