I like leftovers, but am terrified of storing them in plastic tupperware because of all the studies about the carcinogenic chemicals from them leeching into the food. So naturally, I was excited when these Pyrex containers went on sale. They're sturdy and the lids stay on tight--no messy leakage! I can stick them in the microwave, dishwasher, and freezer. Also they are much easier to wash than plastic. If you have ever stored tomato sauce in one of those plastic containers, you know what I mean.

I ordered these to replace our plastic Ziploc storage containers. It is cutting down on the dishes because they are nice enough to use as serving bowls at dinner and then transfer leftovers easily to the fridge and back to the microwave or oven again. My only complaint is that the lids are so airtight they are pretty tough to put on. Maybe I just need to get the feel of it and it'll be easier after time but they seem a tad too small. Otherwise, great product, and I'll probably buy another set in the future.

I just love these. They wash so well in the dishwasher and I can see what's in them in the fridge. Love them!

I bought this set when I moved into my first single apartment, and I love it. The sizes are perfect for storing a moderate amount of food, enough for some leftovers for lunches. The small round containers also fit well in a lunch bag, and they are totally safe to microwave (without the lid). No more tomato-stained plastic. The only thing I can say that's not superlative is that the lids fit so tightly (this is good!) that sometimes they rebound when you take them off and fling condensation or sauce droplets all over.

A baking dish with a lid that I'm not terrified will come off! The lid goes on easily (unlike some other pyrex ones where I fear the glass dish will go flying off the counter before I've figured out how to get the thing on) and it stays put. Buy this one. Especially if you make lasagnas that need to travel.

beautiful, stainless steel tool set, looks great, i fear to even use them. haha. very sturdy, got them at a good price, so i bought them.

The first set I received has two or more pans shattered in the box. With broken glass everywhere, I didn't check the details. But the good thing is that I called Amazon and they sent me a new set in express delivery. Great service and great price from Amazon. About the pans, they are just good old pyrex with a nice modern touch, same performance, better looking.

A quite typical Pyrex high quality bowls. Versatile, durable and aesthetically pleasing. Three sizes, all of them dishwasher safe. Very good value for the money.

I had to send the original back to Macy's because it was missing the small bowl lid. I was instructed to send the "whole" set back rather than Macys sending me the lid for the smallest bowl. The second set I received was in a "beat up" mailing box. The contents inside the Pyrex box were VERY dusty and there were mouse droppings in one of the bowls. (VERY gross I must say!!) Not the first time I've had problem with Macy's. All in all the set itself looks nice but the dustyness and mouse droppings makes me wonder if the bowls will every be used.
