Its time people realize somthing important. When George Lucas sat down to write star wars in the early 1970's he wrote episodes 1-6. Not 4-6, 1-3 but ALL six!!! He couldn't make a movie that long. So he came up with the story from ep 4 because he felt it was the best part for the time. It was the greatest film of all time. He did not expect it to do that well. He was exhausted from working on it, and vowed never to direct again, which is why he did not direct ep 5 and ep 6. However, years went by, and so did the technology (which his company developed!! ILM) which became CG. Now that it existed, he could tell the story he wanted to tell- ep 1-3. BY KNOCKING THIS MOVIE YOU ARE KNOCKING LUCAS HIMSELF!! Its his baby. NOW PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, get over Jar-Jar!! I was frankly blown away by ... Read More

Here we go again. Another star wars movie with a twist...its animated. I am not a avid star wars fan, however, I have seen the new trilogy not the old one. I was excited to finally see this movie and I wasn't disappointed. The plot was simplistic at best and wasn't bombarded with idle chit-chat. It was a thrill ride from beginning to end, I don't care about the naysayers have to say. I felt that the movie was fresh, a nice change of pace, amazing feature film. The action never stifled or faltered it kept up with the film. The relationship between Anakin and the padawan was incredibly deep and moving. I felt a connection and was rewarded. If you are a crazed star wars fan you will nick pick this movie to death. Watch this movie because it was to the point and filled with action. I recommend ... Read More

I'll try to make this short, as this site doesn't allow more than 300 words on the reviews.

INDIANA JONES AND THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK

This film is the classic and quintessential "Indiana Jones" film. Great storyline, top-notch acting, rousing music (especially the famous
"Raiders March"), hair-raising action sequences and superb directing. Rated PG for action violence and mild language.

INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM

The second (though chronologically the first) movie in the series is the darkest in the franchise. Good storyline, excellent acting, rousing music terrific drecting and some ideas originally conceived for "Raiders." Interesting sidenote: Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg married soon after this movie wrapped. Rated PG for ... Read More

I know that after buying the theatrical releases on DVD, I was not happy about having buy them again at a higher price. I resisted buying them for long time, until I saw the extended Fellowship and Two Towers on Starz. I had to admit that these versions made the originals obsolete. You cannot see them again without missing the added content. As they never showed the extended Return, I had buy this set to see it for the first time. All three films are transformed into a new viewing experience, both in story content and picture/sound quality. I noticed, in addition to the full scenes that were added, the action and fighting sequences were more complete and detailed. It is quite a difference from the theatrical versions. The full scenes are not filler or obvious cuts like in other films, but are essential parts ... Read More

Fantastic set if you do not own already on DVD. However, like most who have now purchased multiple versions of the DVD we are demanding that George Lucas WAKE UP and provide a blu-ray edition.

Back to the future is my favorite movie of all time. From beginning to end it is so beautifully executed. Top notch directing, acting and editing with a score to rival "Star Wars". A sweet film the whole family can enjoy, they don't make'em like this anymore. The sequel's were fun too, but this puppy is lighting in a bottle!
