I bought this tape in an effort to build body strength and lose some pounds. It was a penny before shipping so I didn't think twice whether to buy it or not. I think that it is a great workout for beginners like myself. I do think that Billy Blanks probably should have done this video by himself. The camera focused too much on the other people in the tape and not enough on him, so it is hard to see where he places his foot and how he twists his knees during jabs. I hated that the camera was on one of the girls in particular that kept screaming, oh yeah. After a couple of times, it drove me crazy. All in all it was a good tape, even though I have to keep the volume turned down and look away from the tape. oh yea!

I enjoyed this video. I tried out the 1st Advanced workout a couple times and can't ever make it through the whole thing, but the basic workouts do it enough for me. I'll eventually get to the point where I can make it all the way through 1 advanced workout. Make sure you have time and patience for the workouts on the 2nd disc (except for the 8 minute workout, all you need is leg strength and stamina, lots of stamina). Best part about TaeBo, no excercise equipment needed.

This Taebo Cardio workout is just ok to me. I thought it was kinda slow to be effective enough for a good cardio workout. I personally like the Taebo Amped workouts a lot better. They really get you sweating and pumped up, especially with the amplifier.

This is the best Billy Blanks I have and I have them all - found the bootcamp one to be a little too much and even though the abs was strong also, I really felt it target my abs - not for a beginner though. Beginners should stay with basic and instructional for a while before getting into other Blanks tapes. The horse position can be really tough on your hips so if you have any problems there either modify position or this isn't tape for you. Position is in a lot of exercises so take it slow.

I am an intermediate/advanced workout level ( I workout 7 days a week for at least an hour ) and this video put me to shame the first time I did it! It is def. for the advanced exerciser, however, I must say that this is one of the most effective video's I have. It makes all of my other workout videos look like nothing. I do have to add that I did not like the short dance intervals in the middle of the workout, but I think he put those in there to lighten the mood. This is money well spent, I would recommend it to anyone looking to get in serious shape without having to leave their house! A++ exercise video!

As most other reviewers have said, this two DVD set really does provide a great workout! I bought some of the Elite (weighted) Billy Bands and when used with both DVDs they make for a really awesome cardiovascular exercise! I've been doing Tae-Bo for around ten years and I suppose I would describe myself as Intermediate/Advanced; consequently some of Billy's workouts are a little too short or not enough of a challenge but these two are definitely hard work! I am amazed at the difference the Bands make; I've got muscles and (good) bulges where I never used to so I would recommend getting hold of some bands if you can! Yeah, this is a pretty good work out. It makes you sweat. The 8 minute work out will make you have a heart attack if you are not careful! I liked how there were heavy people and older people along with the super in shape people. I suspect that this work out has good results. I myself have only done it three times, so I wouldn't REALLY know. But after those three times, I felt fantastic! It's worth a shot.

I love Billy Blanks and do his Tae Bo DVD's often. When I saw this one for kids I had to get it. It again....is a fabulous dvd.

I have used this DVD for a year now and I still use it. No matter how hard I try, I can never make it to the end without taking a break.
