I thought they never would put out Mannequin2 on DVD, then it came in a set. The first one is great about a mannequin coming to life at nights and falling in love with the male window dresser. The second one has a different actress and leading man... not as good.

this is a cute movie that i love and have loved since i was little. everything about it is great and i could watch 100 times

wilder and gilder, the names look like they rhyme, but they are pronounced differently. of course, it's not gilder, it's gilda. and it's past my bedtime.

This is my all-time favorite 80's comedy. Watching it today, it is no less enjoyable than it was upon initial release. If a film stands the test of time, that is when you know it has become a classic in its own right. The performances by everyone are all around charming and delightful. The writing is clever, witty and fun. Adventures in Babysitting will engross you from the very opening when Elisabeth Shue dances her way thru "Then He Kissed Me," by the Crystals until the closing credits roll by the same number. This is definitely the kind of film to watch if you are feeling down and out. It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and more! Enjoy it again and again! Also recommended for fans of this film: Teen Witch.

I used to watch this movie as a kid. The Tim Conway / Don Knotts humor is perfect. I'm now 24, and the humor is not lost.

It's got charm, some good lines, a few good setpieces and gets away with its flaws. Good entertainment.

a very good book. Much like Bonfire of the Vanities, this was horribly miscast and butchered. How this ever fell into the hands of John Carpenter and Chevy Chase, I'll never understand. Someone else mentioned that Harrison Ford would have been better cast as the central character and I think that's pretty much dead on but the screenplay would have to have been trashed and put in the hands of someone who wanted to create something that actually represented the original and also in the hands of a more capable director. John Carpenter may be good at what he does but he was way out of his depth with this and was probably incapable of controlling Chase. I remember seeing this film in the theaters with my mother. This is a pretty corney movie about an LA police officer who's mother comes to visit and get's caught up in a large police investigation. She is Overbearing, Intrusive, but has a big heart and has her son's best interest in mind. As for a production, not really good, Stallone's performance is flat, Getty does a decent job, but overall worth a viewing.
