I originally liked this movie because it's basically a spoof of 'family values' (alot of trite cliches thrown around in a comedic/clever manner)....So i was quite pleased when the tape arrived quickly & the picture-value' was a quality one--Quite pleased!

No wonder I've never heard of this movie, til I was surfing Brad Pitt...it certainly is "B" flick movie, and thank gosh his acting got better as he got older!! I am a big Brad Pitt fan, and he is definetly very young and cute in this movie, which is the only thing it has going for it!! I wish I would have rented this movie before buying it! I would not recommend this movie unless you are a serious Brad Pitt fan, and want it in your collection.

If only for the "raft" scene and to see Jason Alexander "pre-Seinfeld", you must watch this 80's Horror Classic. This is not "Sophie's Choice" folks. The acting is cheesy, the camera work is cheesier, but the pure joy of 80's low budget Horror is worth the price of purchase/admission!!

"Night Of The Demons" is one of those little rarities that stuck with me for 20 years now. God I love this movie !!!

This movie has it all. Creepy house, fantastic gothic lighting, floating demons (not the walking kind), fantastic gore scenes and more !!

As all horror movies, not to be taken too serious. It didn't win any Oscars but to me that's a good thing because all award winning movies suck !

i got this movie becasue of the high praise it got on amazon.some of it was well deserved, like the praise for tom savini's sfx.but the story of the movie was kind of boring at times when hes not killing anyone.i eman its an ok movie that any horror fan should watch at least once, rent maybe unless you LOVE gore and blood then i say you should buy it.there are plenty of special features on the disc which is good and its directed by wiwlliam lustig(maniac cop, uncle sam)so if your a fan of his run and get this movie.aside from the few laggin story parts the movie was good and the end was a shocker that you have to see to belive.your either gonna love, hate or fall somewhere in between with this movie.not for anyone who dosent enjoy horror, blood or guts.

Stephen King is known as the `king' of horror, and `Carrie' is the story that made him famous. In fact, it was after the massive reception that `Carrie' received as a mass market paperback novel that King was able to quit his day job; literally. The film adaptation also received major critical buzz and reception, nabbing Oscar nominations for Spacek and co-star Laurie as well as a few other awards (Spacek won the NSFC award for her performance). All the praise and admiration is deserved, definitely, for `Carrie' is one of Kings grandest stories, and Brian De Palma delivers masterfully with his big screen adaptation, capturing the very essence of King with each frightfully delicious frame.

The film, and the novel, tell a story as old as time; that of a young outcast pushed too far by too many people. Kind of like the `pre ... Read More

Phantasm is a late '70s supernatural fantasy horror movie that does a great job of combining atmosphere, creepy nightmares, flying sphere-violence, location, characters, events and scares into one great, big bundle of nightmarish joy.
As an artist with a love of all things odd, unusual, beautiful, surreal, spooky and fun, this movie delivers all that and a bag of evil chips from another dimension.
Let me describe the highlights and joys of this movie:
The creepy, old cemetery setting.
The mystical, surreal hallways under the morgue.
The flying spheres with daggers at the end that contributed a great gore scene.
The almost stereotypical '70s fellas, with their collar-length hair, leather jackets and love of rock.
The evil midgets that chase you and spew yellow vomit.
The terrifying Tall Man that loves screaming, ... Read More

Dan Curtis, brain child behind such 70's telehorror hits as "Night Stalker," "The Norliss Tapes," and "Dark Shadows," scores another success with "Trilogy of Terror." This anthology showcased Karen Black's versatility as a superb actress. She portrays four different women in three tales of terror. These women range from plain and conservative to wild and sensuous. The three tales are all based on short stories written by Richard Matheson, the best-selling author of I Am Legend, which spawned three theatrical versions; the last one starred Will Smith.

Supernatural deception is the theme in "Julie." A handsome, young college student decides to blackmail his English professor, Julie, into dating him. Naturally, there are deadly consequences. This tale has a nice downbeat ending that is rather shocking.
