I can always count on an Emily Giffin book to not only be a great read but to also make me think. She writes amazing, imperfect characters that seem utterly real, who act like people do in real life and always express emotions that I can believe. I really enjoyed reading about Ellen, Leo, Andy, Suzanne, Margot and the gang as they deal with a single relationship in the past that threatens all of them. I loved watch their family fall apart, then rally together as Ellen is forced to make the choice of her life. Great drama and another fun, intelligent book from Giffin. Can't wait until the next one!

I loved this book. I wasn't surprised, as I am a huge Jane Green fan, and this book did not disappoint. The book was so richly detailed that you feel like you're right there on Nantucket! Bottom line, if you're looking for a deep, philosophical read, this ain't it, but if you want something fun and engrossing, pick up this book!

I am surprised to see that many Good In Bed readers didn't LOVE this book. Is it because of the end? I guess I am not a happily ever after person. To me, Good in Bed is all about Mothers and Daughters and the JOY (no pun intended) that comes from that bond....even though it's a small part of the GIB story-- it's a HUGE part of Certain Girls, and furthered the relationship that I wanted to see more of.

LOVED IT. YAY CANNIE!!!!

The pursuit of money and the extravagances it can buy, and what it is like to live when money is no object, is the fascinating social commentary written by one of New York's premier 21st-century novelists, Candace Bushnell. Those who possess old money and new money are striving for status, art, publicity and New York real estate.

The reader is seduced by New York City and the fantasy that if you can make it in the Big Apple, you can make it anywhere. Money, odd couple relationships and age are recurring themes with Carrie Bradshaw-style commentary by Bushnell: "Perhaps too much money was like too much sex. It crossed the line and became pornographic."

Bushnell's fifth novel shines the spotlight on an eclectic group of people who currently live at or who are scheming to live at ... Read More

I've read most of the Shopaholic books, so I was naturally expecting "Remember Me?" to be a funny book. Surprisingly, it isn't. I don't think I laughed at all. The story is kind of flat. Even though the premise of the book is intriguing--the main character has a car accident and loses all memory of the last three years--not a whole lot happens. Also, the characters are hard to relate to. I love Becky Bloomwood of the Shopaholic series because she's quirky and naive. Lexi Smart, the title character in "Remember Me?," is not nearly as well drawn as Becky. I couldn't really relate to her, or to any of the characters. While her gorgeous, millionaire husband turns out to be not-so-perfect, I couldn't see what drew her to Jon. He's a nice guy, I presume, but he comes across as flat, like everyone else in this ... I've read a lot of fluffy chick lit books and I threw this down in disgust. I didn't even get through 50 pages. Stupid, vapid, poorly written and just not fun. Very ho-hum. Just like the 'celebrity' credentials of the "authors".

I enjoyed this book. I happened to just pick it up because it was on a table. Since reading the book I have become an avid reader of her blog and just ordered her other two books. She is like the friend you meet up with every so often to catch up and get the load down of their weird and bizarre life, you laugh so hard at their stories because you just can't believe that actually happens to someone.

This was a fun read and I would suggest it to everyone!

I love Marion Keyes, but I cannot get past the first chapter! How in the world is anyone expected to like some girl that talks or even thinks in this way?? It's like reading someone that is speaking in baby talk. I cannot like the character, so how can I like the book? I'm going to keep reading, simply because my sister said it is worth it, but it's hard to keep reading with all it's doing is annoying the life out of you. PLEASE never write in this style again. It's painful to read this chopped and screwed verbage. I am so disappointed in this book. I just cannot say how much Lola annoys me. I promise, it's like listening to a 3 year old. I'm truly hoping it gets better, but the book is horrible so far.

Like many I read the reviews and was looking forward to this book as a fun, light, quick read. It starts off with accounts of people having sex with the dead body of Marilyn Monroe and goes down hill from there!! The book is pure trash and I was outraged that they classified this as young adult at the library; I would never allow my daughter to ready this trash!! To put it shortly this book is a waste of paper and your time!!! The character is a sex craved neurotic psycho who you never really care about and the `book' is poorly written and choppy. I've seen better comic books!!! Jules Asner should stick to modeling. If you bought this book ask for a refund you've been sacked!!!
