I love having this book on the coffee table for a quick hit of stillness. It is especially helpful when my mind starts realing and I need to calm down. Anything that Ekhart Tolle has to say has such power to soothe and bring a person back down to earth!

I am still reading this book but am well into the 2nd half. Very good reading, amazing discoveries. I am trying out some of what I have read to see if I can get my leg working again. Time will tell, also patience and endurance.

I am disappointed once again with a hyped-up book. I thought it would be a beautiful story about a mute boy and his beloved dogs, but it wasn't! The first part was all I'd hoped I'd be reading until the whole thing turned south. Instead of being a beautiful story, it rather quickly turned dark and ugly, and became a haunting tragedy. I don't like misery and disheartening sadness, and want to know ahead of time if that's what a book is. This one was represented to be something wonderful, and it was anything but that, apart from the wonderful way he gave the dogs personality. If he'd stayed with that, he would have written a spectacular novel. When people say they hated for it to end, what on earth were they enjoying? This book is very though provoking and interesting and has beautiful peaceful photographic pictures. It is well written and a quick but deep meaningful read.

Kathy Freston's book is a great and easy read. One of the chapters that caught my attention was titled "Be the Change". Here, she gently guides us to discover our personal and worldly aims and connect with our purpose. In doing so, she shows how we can make a difference while realizing our full potential and being satisfied and fulfilled.
