I liked how the alliance between the werewolves and vampires came to fruition, but I still find the love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob had to believe! Either way the best part of the book was about the legend of the spirit warriors, maybe Stephenie should take her time and write a quality book about the werewolves and try to be a bit more conscientious of writing strong female characters.

OOOOHHHHH MY GOSH !!! This is a GREAT READ!! The series is AWESOME!! I could hardly put any one of these books down. I recommend them HIGHLY!-I also would not say that this is a" teeny bopper" book, adults will enjoy all 4 books. Buy them, you' ll miss sleep but you'll love it!!

Brainstorms I read the entire Twilight series after fans kept telling me that my song "Edward" reminded them of the book(s). I think "Twilight" is a fun, subtly sexy read. And Edward is indeed a lovable character! If you agree, you might enjoy my song too, so hopefully you'll check it out ;o)

As I had read Meyer's Twilight Saga, I wanted to read her first novel for adults to see how different it was to her other three novels. Also the plot of The Host seemed to be very exciting and unusual. To me, the novel, however, turned out to be very boring. When I read Twilight, I was truly fascinated by the story and the easy read, so that of course I also read New Moon and Eclipse. But already New Moon showed that Meyer was trying to change her writing style from a simple one to a more sophisticated language style, which unfortunately did not work out. I was also disappointed with the way in which she developed the exciting love between Edward and Bella. I'm a 41 yr old woman, who cut her teeth on Anne Rice. Upon opening page one of this book at the bookstore, it grabbed me. I immediately liked Zoey and wanted to know more about her. The writing style was friendly and spoke comfortabley TO the reader. Reminded me of Richard Peck's writing style from some of his teen mystery novels (my favorite as a teen). It's a light read yet draws you into a different world of Vampyres than the normal fare. Love the Night School concept as well. I DO wish there was a picture of Zoey's forehead tattoo/Mark, though. It sounds so exotic! So, I had to get this book and Twilight. Both are really good so far. I'll update once I finish, but I'm sure I'll be getting the sequels to both books!

I started reading the first book of this series about 5 days ago and was hooked. I almost liked it more than the twilight series. I love the action and different spin P.C. Cast and her daughter take to create this amazing young adults vampire series! You all will love it if you loved the Twilight series.

This book starts up immediately where "Marked" left off: Zoey is settling into life as a vampire fledgling, surrounded by her newfound friends at the House of Night. She has proven herself a worthwhile student in the goddess, Nyx's, eyes and has been marked with a unique design across her forehead - something that has never been done to anyone - vampire or fledgling. Not only does Zoey have to take the responsibility as the leader of the Dark Daughters - she has a blooming relationship with Erik Night evolving, an imprint with her ex-human boyfriend - not to mention teens around town are being killed which all signs point to the vampirs and the House of Night as the culprits. It's easy to get caught up in Zoey's world; I really enjoy this series and look forward to the others!

I don't own this CD, but I listened to the samples. I was expecting a soundtrack like the soundtrack to "Romeo and Juliet" with Leonardo Di Caprio in it. That is the music I would picture with Twilight.

First off, Mr. Paolini lied to us. Trillogies are supposed to be in three volumes. He has decided to go for more money by expanding the series to four books. Secondly Brisinger has gone off the deep end in detailed descriptions of everything from every blade of grass that moves to each spatter of blood in the battles. The author has endevored to remove all imagination from the reader. He has even included chapters with no appearent purpose, ("Glumra") for instance. This was 748 pages which should have been reduced to about 350. Hopefully "book 4" will actually complete the series.
