As a James patterson fan, I was deeply dissaointed with this book. Its obvious he is just letting his name be attached to books just to make money. This was more predictable, fake, and unrealistic than a silly movie. I was flipping the pages literally stunned that each event was ACTUALLY happening because it was so stupid and surreal. Dont waste your time. This book stinks.

I used to enjoy Krispy Kreme donuts. I used to enjoy James Patterson. For similar reasons, I forswore them both some time ago. Patterson produces novels at nearly the same rate Krispy Kreme produces donuts and like the donuts, there's almost no nutritional value. Over time, I forget how vacuous they are and think, "Why did I give these things up, they LOOK good". The next day however, suffering from aesthetic remorse, I renew my vow of abstinence. "The Dangerous Days of Daniel X" is an example of how dependent Patterson has become on the contributions of "co-writers" (I suspect these "co-writers" are the ACTUAL creators while Mr. Patterson does little more than attach his name to the franchise.) it wasnt as satisfying as i thought it would be. the book was short and the plot wasnt that great. the villain doesnt really exist until for about 30 to 40 pages. but still the overall book was good and it was like a mini version of the books. it was still worth reading. heads up for water wings on march 2009.

Where Are You Now?: A Novel My first Mary Higgins Clark book. I really enjoyed this book and am now a MHC fan.

This is a very interesting novel, intelligently written. The best I have read from this author. I highly recommend it. The plot is over political fiction that may one day convert into real if Russia continues its present aggressive posture

Tremendously fast read....Typical Patterson.....I sort of liked it and felt for the main character. Another very quick and easy read, Patterson books are great on audio CD since they are short and easy to follow in the car.

I thought the plot was weak and plodding. This was my first Delaware book and I found him puzzling. I mean, he kinda just hangs around with this detective, like a dilettante. Meanwhile, the plot lacked intensity. The whole book was mostly Delaware and Milo talking to this person then this person then this person then that person.....and finally they catch the bad guy. Very little action. I found the plot barely believeable. The characters were interesting and the writing was crisp, but when I got to the end of the book I wondered why I bothered reading it.
