Short Conclusion First: Rent it first, see how you like. On to the review, I really liked the Gamecube version. The game had endurance in it, still play it. Super Slugger doesn't. The Wii-ness of the game is simple, but fulfilling enough. Throwing, running, batting are well done. I should say base running takes some time to get used to. Their choice of how to control base runners is logical, however, not necessarily how you will be used to controlling base runners. Also in Toy Field, playing aggressively is a little different as well.. not as logical. You need to press B to hit a person. In other games a simple nunchuck shake would do that. I bought this for my first grader. He really enjoys the game. The only thing I get frustrated with is having to help him through all the screens for drawing things. He reads pretty well, but the game scrolls through the instructions too fast for him. But over all for a younger kid it is a good game. I would not recommend it for an older child(over 9). His cousin was bored by it. Worth the money for my guy :)

I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves all things High School Musical. She was only mediocre thrilled with this.

What I like about the Lego video games, is my son can shoot, stab and kill without all the bloody gore. The Lego characters just break and come back to "life." It's great! Also, it takes awhile to complete all the levels, providinging hours of play time. My only frustration is there are no hints on how to find all the artifacts. There are three we just can't seem to find.

My 8 year old daughter is a big Disney Never Fairy fan. She has read all the books and loved the new Tinkerbell movie. I was excited to see this game. She has never enjoyed playing games, since she outgrew her Leapster. Once she opened the game and began playing it, it was difficult to get her to stop. It is like the magic of the fairy world has come alive for her. There is a lot of reading on about a 3rd grade level involved with this game. There is also a certain amount of dexterity required to accomplish some of the game features. I have also played the game, and as an adult, I enjoy it too! I recommend this game to Disney Never Fairy fans!

Cooking Mama: Cook Off is a really fun little game. It's not long, it's not complex, and the graphics aren't jaw-dropping by any means. Despite all that, I still play this game whenever I'm sick and end up spending the day on the couch or friends come to visit. It's simple enough that anyone can play it, but varied enough to be interesting. Plus, the sound effects and Mama's voice over is completely hilarious. You get a gold medal when you do good, and even messing up is funny, like when you flip the pancake too hard and it flips off the stove and splatters on the counter.

I think this game is a great game when it comes to the thrill of the campaign and the multiplayer is addicting as always. I don't really see why Call of Duty went back to the WWII era again but i think if you liked Call of Duty 4 you'll like this one. As far as the collector's edition.. i wouldn't say it's worth it unless you're buying it since it's a collector item.. I knew what i was getting myself into when i bought it because I've been a fan of the CoD series and the tin artwork looked nice to collect. If you're buying it souly for the gameplay i would buy just the game itself and save the money. This game keeps me addicted and looking forward to the title and hopefully Call of Duty 5 or 6.. If you like 1st person shooters or a fan of the series I would reccomend the game.

This is a pretty decent game. Fairly easy to play for everybody. We haven't played the whole thing yet. The main negative thing is that it's tedious to get to each level. The beginning/ending sequences of each level are much longer than they need to be. Also, they are just subtitles that you read, so real young kids (like my 4 year old) can't play unless someone older helps them.
