This is just an *ok* game. we arent very impressed by it. We were more impressed with GH3.

We rented this game before we bought it. And very glad we did as it is not worth the $50 for game only.

This game seems to center around a band. Now that is fine and im sure very fun but what about those people who just want to play the game by themselves? And we have seen many comments on that here. Hopefully the next one (if there is one) will be better.

All in all its not a bad game, but not that great either. Will be waiting to purchase when the price goes way down.

I bought this game last year for $50 and it has been well worth the money. The characters are easy to maneuver, there is so much story (six episodes with six levels each plus tons of bonuses), and two can play together. After you play each level in story mode, you can go back and play in free play, in which you choose your characters, find secret areas, and collect Lego cannisters which make a Star Wars minikit. There are also other bonus levels, such as Lego City which in which you must find the 1,000,000 hidden studs by destroying, building and solving puzzles. And there's more...you can visit Jabba the Hut and work as a bounty hunter looking for characters or play a two person arcade mode. As for following the Star Wars movie plots...it does fairly well, but a few levels (especially in Episodes 1,2 ... Read More

As previous reviews have stated this is a very stylish game, but that is where my praise ends. There is a huge flaw in the actual gameplay, which makes wonder who launched this from the editing block. Every time you attack, and I mean -every- little melee attack, the game leaves the battle map to load a cut scene animation. I wouldn't mind this for special moves, but SRPG battles are time-consuming enough with the simple animations taking place on the map. It's distracting, boring, and renders the game unplayable for a person with limited free time.

This is a must have for any PS3 owner or anyone who is considering to buy a PS3. It has improved a lot and I just love it. It's more challenging as Insomniac focused on scale, so you'll see larger enemies and more enemies on the screen. The Collector's Edition is worth the money. It comes with a bonus BD disc and these discs cost around 15 bucks, a book, action figure and a multiplayer weapon. If you add all these up... it is well over 80 already. If you think it's too expensive, you can choose the Bill Me Later option to save 10 bucks. It is just 10 dollars more if you purchase the Collector's with Bill me Later.

"New weapons and objects include steel steps, tables, ladders, trash cans, and more" That statement right there should say something.....08 had all of this already. Except for the create a finisher and inferno match this is SVR 08 minus legends, elimination chamber, create a belt and some moves......thus I am not at all impressed with THQ this year. I loved 08 but I don't need to buy it again for one match....hell inferno could have been DLC for 08 and you would have the same game. TNA impact was a jolk due to midway's laziness....so hopefully LOW will be better.

hot shot golf, for those who are not familiar with the series, takes an anime-comical approach towards the players. i much prefer that to something like Tiger Woods which is too serious and you end up w/ strangely dead but, more realistic players. (guess that's a comment on all sports that try to be Real.)

i have to agree with the other reviews regarding a lack of extras and courses. it is fun, but i wish it came with more courses and characters.

i actually like the Advanced shot method (which some other reviewers have panned). you click x, when the back swing reaches to a point of power you like, you hit x; then a small reticule closes in to the ball and you click as near on the ball as possible. it takes timing, but it didn't take me long to get the hang of it. even adding the spin on it isn't ... This is simply the best football game out there. The most teams in a game, which makes the game so easy to adapt to. Madden has fallen to Ncaa franchise many years before the 2009 games came out, and it doesn't even come close this year. The broken tackles are actually realistic. The only thing is that some catches/interceptions aren't realistic but they make up for each other.
